We don't give "food allowance" she has free access to food at home and if she needs anything extra we just add it to our grocery list and buy it for her.

Disposable bottles regardless of the brand, we use masafi , it's more expensive than other brands but the use disposable bottles not the re-usable ones. We use the dispenser for cooking & making tea/ coffee , for drinking we use Al Ain zero

You can order it from iHerb , I ordered hemp seeds and I checked if I can order hemp seed oil and it was ok, if an item is banned for ordering online from iHerb it will automatically show on your order that the item is banned for delivery to your country and the order will not be processed.

If the 150 is a monthly offer then you can't use the entertainer for that, I go to various saloons & use the entertainer , you get the buy one get one free on the listed prices only , it is the same with buffets & hotel rooms if it's on offer you can't use 2 offers at the same time

I live in a huge 4 bedrooms apt and never had complains from the cleaning ladies, they have to work for 4 hours, it doesn't matter if you live in a small or big house, I don't expect her to clean all the house in 4 hrs, this is why I divide the work over 2 days but she's efficient enough to thorough clean 2 rooms each time & a quick dusting & vacuuming the other areas in addition to the 2 bathrooms we use daily & the kitchen. I agree, if they have complains they should complain to their employer, and if you don't like their attitude speak to their supervisor. A girl once refused to clean the balcony window with water from outside & she had a bad attitude, so I had to bring it up to her supervisor & I requested a change. I am paying money & I give extras to the working lady so I expect to get proper cleaning in return.

Many restaurants were moved from fine dining to the blue book, you can download the app for free & take a look at what's available. We went for the app this year instead of the paper book, it's easier to exchange vouchers by pings, and you can buy pings using your smilies . The book doesn't have a pin for monthly offers & new offers anymore

Hi wickedangel_78. I am looking for more information on Ajman Academy. Does your child still go there and how do you find it? Regards, Banu Hi, I moved him to VISS this semester after spending 3.5 yrs at Ajman Academy. There are many changes going on there after the change of management at the beginning of this Academic year 2016/2017 I was happy earlier but with the changes it was frustrating for the parents & we didn't have a clue where the school is heading to so I had to move my child. In addition the traffic from our side towards the school was increasing and it started to get exhausting for us. I don't have much feedback anymore, nothing seriously negative about school , many are still happy with Ajman Academy but it wasn't the right place for us any more I hope this helps

I did my master degree at UOWD and went for the option of receiving the degree from Australia. It was stamped and approved by the UAE embassy in Australia so I assume it is acredited here. My B.Sc. Is from the University of Sharjah, I didn't have to for IELTS or any English tests prior to applying for the Master degree although I'm not a native speaker but my TOEFL grade was recorded on my B.Sc. and the score was high. I'm not sure how it works now, I had my Master degree 10 years back.

What kind of difficulty? Is he a native speaker? Does he struggle with sounding words or understanding the text? What school does he go to? Many schools don't teach phonics and this is why some children find it difficult to read or spell correctly, if he was taught phonics & still struggles to read & write I'd look into taking him to a specialist for assessment. You can help him by starting from scratch & work on teaching him phonics, there are good websites and apps like reading egg, study ladder & oxford owl that help in teaching children how to read. There are also good books like Julia Donaldson Songbird series.

My brother had eye sight correction procedure there, 3 or 4 yrs back, he also bought an offer through cobone. They were really professionals in handling his case, he bought the ultra LASIK package but he needed a different procedure, he was sent for several consultations with more than one dr before the procedure as his wasn't straight forward, we didn't pay any extras for the change of the procedure or for the additional consultations.

He has insurance and my car has been fixed without any cost to me however now my neck is injured and I have had to pay for medical treatment etc. I want him to cover these expenses & get some compensation as I don't know how long I will suffer with this pain. Those are covered under 3rd party liability by his insurance. My friend was in an accident & the 2nd party was hospitalized , all expenses were covered by insurance, he paid public liability to the court but not the treatment expenses, all expenses are covered by the insurance up to 1 mil Dhs, check with your insurance for details if you have comprehensive insurance

Does he have insurance? This all should be covered by his car insurance. You don't do anything in those cases, you just provide your reports & wait for the court order

I was thinking of getting one for rewards and paying it off every month. What are the consequences? I thought credit cards and loans were common out here. I had to get a loan for my rent, so i'm already in debt with that... Ours is linked to our account and it's paid off in full automatically, we don't pay any renewal fee or interest. We have it mainly for skywards points, we travelled several times & upgraded our flights using the points, it also offer discounts in some restaurants, and payment by installments with no interest for furniture & electronics in participating outlets. Ours is through Emirates Islamic bank, you can also check Emirates-NBD bank they have good offers on credit cards

In Sharjah they had a tablet to fill in the info, or you can do it online, they ask for the mobile number to send you a link to your detailed form, they need ID numbers on the form & all the info mentioned like number of rooms, number of family members & so on. If you don't fill in the info within the specific time they will visit again to fill the electronic form with you, and they will ask for IDs In Sharjah there was a fine if you don't take part, not sure about dubai.

Rigid, exhausting & boring! No trips, no activities.. It's system is very old school and it concentrates on quantity rather than quality. Too many exams & quizes. My cousins are there, they are always complaining, this is in addition to longer school hours from grade 5 onward compared to other schools. I don't understand the fuss about the time children spend "studying" , if they understand what they're taking without spending loads of time doing worksheets & homework and studying for exams it does not mean they are not learning. I prefer my child to have time for sports, playing & going out especially in primary years. I also prefer smaller schools where children are recognized & noticed rather than schools with larger number of children.

But a plain white t-shirt & a red marker and draw the strips , this is what they're going to do at my son's school. I think you can find those pens at toy shops in the arts & crafts section. Or you can look at bossini? They have a wide range of t-shirts.

Hi, Anyone tried the balcony seats at Madinat theatre? I won tickets for tomorrow's show, they are balcony front row. When I book tickets I always go for stall front seats. I have a 6 yrs old with me, I'm not sure if I'd still go if the seats are too far away from the stage.

Which grades are they going to be registered in the ministry of education? My son was born in November 2009, he is registered in grade one at the ministry of education but he goes to PY1 in IB school, as he is advanced academically the school is looking at moving him a grade up, but this will not change his grade at the ministry of education. IB is 13 years not 12, double check regarding their grade at the ministry of education not at school. At my son's class there are children who were born in May 2010, those are registered as KG2 students in the ministry of education although they attend PY1 at school.

Little explorers Mirdif city Centre suitable for both & there are vouchers in the entertainer , 2 adults go in for free with 2 children. It is nice & different than other play areas. If Sharjah is an option Al Qasba has loads of attractions like boat riding, Emirates Eye , 9 D cinema, outdoor play area, and bikes renting. They are also running a light show in the evening and there is a Turkish products bazaar those days. If you have the family entertainer there are vouchers for the emirate eye & the play areas (outdoor & the indoor one) at Qasba, Mini golf - there is outdoor mini golf at Al majaz water front in Sharjah & there is an indoor one at wafi city There is a dancing fountain show in Majaz waterfront, a nice outdoor play area, a track for bikes & scooters & light shows
