Hi, Like you I had only been to city hospital, but my insurance company stopped paying for the treatment I needed at City. I went to Al Zahra for a hystectomy and varicose vein treatment. I absolutely loved Al Zahra. Great room over looking the Palm. The hystectomy was with a good surgeon. If I had the choice again I would go to Al zahra for all my treatment. Very easy parking...not like the City hospital parking stress. No long waits for appointments.

It's miserably..... I was in the same situation for more than 3 years. I saw a dietician who recommended that I cut yeast, sugar, fruit and wheat from my diet. ( don't eat mushrooms or some cheese ) I did stick to it for about 4 months, and in the 6 years since I have only had thrush once or twice. If I feel like I am getting thrush, I will have a few days of cutting out those foods, and so far it has worked.

There are cheaper boarding school options. Have a look at the state boarding schools. My children all went to school in Dxb , then around 14 years they all went to. UK boarding school. All of them absolutely loved it. They loved having their mates around 24/7 , and always having teachers around to help.

You should just get a grip and tell them to leave your house neat and tidy like they find it, otherwise they will have to look for other free holiday accommodation. Make sure you leave a new toilet brush and bottle of toilet cleaner , a sponge and spray cleaner.... You can say it in a jokey manner , that if they do not clean the bathroom / toilet then you won't have them to stay again..... Or if they really upset you this much , DONT HAVE THEM TO STAY ... there are sooo many other places they can stay.

I got a speeding fine , and it wasn't even my car. I emailed the police department and had to go to police station behind the wafi and the fine was removed. It was a long time ago , but the police were really helpful.

I had new covers made in satwa. It was much heavier fabric and lasted at least 5 years ( it in storage now ) But it was fairly expensive 4K dhs. It was cheaper to buy a new gazebo and just use the covers.

I am currently a n the middle of moving house. I am using MTN movers and packers. I have to be honest and say that this company have really taken care of everything, and it has been extremely stress free for us ( I'm sat having a cup of tea while they are unpacking !) so far nothing broken or damaged. Their number is. 00971 555757031. Good luck.

My DH decked our garden. We bought the Teak ( I think ) decking wood from a large wood store in the Al quoz estate. I think to get quality wood that will survive the summer heat it will be expensive. I honestly cannot remember how much it cost, but it wasn't cheap, although buying it from a wood store was much much cheaper than the quote from the gardener !

I had actually looked at the bedding in Debenhams, but I need good quality duvet covers which can be washed in a hospital laundry. Even with the sale on I found the prices really high. The bedding I bought from Kaleidascope looks great, it has button fastenings ( not sure if they all do ) and keeps its colour a shape.

Mine is a 555 model, like the previous poster, ours is about 7 years old , and has the brushes. We had a problem with the charger probably due to the power surges here in Dubai. The company were very helpful and sent a new one. You can also order new brushes and filters, even for the older models.

We have had a roomba for years... if you have an area where you don't want the roomba to go , you have to buy the lighthouses. We didn't have pets but I still ended up emptying it everyday. Our was programmed to clean at night. Brilliant, love it.

My DS lost a lot of weight when he joined a new school. After 2 years he had lost 13kg. I nagged him about eating and the fact that he looked ill, but he just complained that I was constantly nagging ! Eventually I asked the school nurse to speak to him. She sent him for a blood test. The results were inconclusive and were due to be repeated . I'm happy to say that he has now put on around 8kg, although he could do with putting on at least another 5kg. Do speak to the school nurse. I think advice coming from an outsider helps. Especially if she doesn't mention that you have spoken to her. For my DS I got him more involved with buying and cooking his own food. It's such a worrying time. My DS was 15 too....

I heard on the radio that Rigby & Pellar have opened a store here, although I don't remember where . Another idea is to get them on line. I use 2 great sites. bravissimo & brastop. Brastop is my favourite,as their prices are very reasonable and they do bra sized swim wear too.

I was a complete wreck before the op . I stayed in hospital for 2 days. Recovery was ok , sore for a few days , but to be honest I was ready to drive after a week. Luckily my husband was ion hand to drive me around. Problems afterwards were Thrush after antibiotics and a bladder infection after the catheter ( catheter was horrible ) I think it really depends how the surgeon will do the Hysterectomy. Mine was done laproscopically. So my navel stitches were very uncomfortable . Good luck with your surgery . You will not regret it for a minute. It's a horrible drastic decicion to make, but you will feel so much better afterwards .

I have just had both legs done ( 2 separate visits ) with Dr Marek Sepioli at Al Zahra hospital. My saphenus vein was huge , bulging and dangerous. I have EVLT and all the varicose veins removed . Fantastic results , but jolly painful , even after 4 weeks. I would definitely recommend this Vascular surgeon .

Try Dr Surajudeen , Karama. 04 334 5955. I paid under 9k for 2 years of treatment. Fixed braces top and bottom . The end result is fantastic , and he didn't rush to extract teeth to make room.
