I stopped drinking caffeine a long time ago for girlie issues . A few years ago I was on a wheat, yeast, sugar and fruit free diet. I lost lots of weight and I don't actually remember if the RA was particularly active. I think maybe try that diet again and some gentle yoga will help , it's just plucking up the courage to change ! Is the yoga at Safa park open to all ? And when is it on please .

Hi Ladies, I have RA and have had enough of the meds , which didn't seem to work. I control the pain and swelling / flares with Predisolone and pain killers. I'm probably not doing the right thing , but I feel so much better in myself. I'm sure at the first sign of a serious flare I will be begging for meds again , but I may try the gluten free diet etc I will welcome anything natural that will help. I was trying to find a beginners yoga or Pilates , anyone know of classes in Jumeriah. Thanks

Any swelling in the mouth needs urgent attention as it could cause her airway to be blocked. I take my DS to a medical and dental practice in Karama , by the fish market. It's a bit grubby on the outside but the surgery is really clean. There are lots of Indians there so I cannot imagine the price of the dental work can be too expensive. Probably a good idea to take along the recent X-rays. Maybe the swelling was due to food packing or poor oral hygiene which can cause swelling, which is why they started with cleaning. Or maybe the clean was just in a small area ? Call them, although they probably won't be able to give you a quote over the phone. 043345955.

I have an LG direct drive washing machine. I've had it for nearly 6 years and never had a problem. It's a 7kg capacity. Really quiet. Loads of choice in wash cycles. Clothes really are well spun that they hardly need much drying time.

Desc have a school pick up in the Marina, also in Meadows and Springs. It's an early start, but none of my children complained. I can't remember how much the cost was , but I think it was around 800 dhs per month.

Sorry should have said, it's never busy so you can enjoy a cosy unusual meal for 2 ! You cook what you want , in a sauce or marinade that you want, for as long as you want... The food is always really fresh and healthy.

We love the Sumibiya, at Raddison Blu creek. It has BBQs built into the table. So you cook your own... It's a really nice evening out, good choice of high quality beef , chicken and seafood. I think if you have a NBD card you can get some discount. With beer and wine it's 150 dhs.

Ooh yummy...dinner at yours then ! I love raclette , I usually do mine just with various meats, new potatoes and vegetables. It's lovely with raw onion , tomatoes ,mushrooms.... My children like it with mashed potatoes, chilli and eggs... I think you could try a different recipe everyday of the week , just make sure you have elasticated waistbands...

We tried to cancel our sons visa , but I think there was a charge of around 300dhs. So we didn't bother, as it was soon to expire. He has returned numerous times to dxb and never had any issues on arrival or departure.

I've had a couple of these... The first one was a speeding fine, and it had the photo attached...it wasn't even the same make as my car. I emailed the police traffic department and was amazed when it was taken off. 2nd one was a parking violation , the car was registered to a Popular leasing company in Dubai. I contacted the leasing company and arranged to meet a company representative at the RTA headquarters near terminal 1 ( I think ) I went from pillar to post but did eventually get it taken off too. It's just a time consuming exercise ...... And extremely frustrating. Good luck..

Try Dr Sirajudeen in Karama. 043345955 Looks a bit tatty from the outside , but inside the surgery is spotless. My child has been having orthodontic treatment there for 18 months. The prices are very reasonable. It's has all sorts of doctors and dentists. I hope you manage to find someone to help.

I think it's more thorough than prune juice.... But remember it takes between 8-10 hrs to work. I have a cup in morning and sometimes a cup in the evening. You probably won't need all the other ingredients for the diet lemonade, just try this for a week. I don't know if its in the big Carrefour, it will just be with the other teas.

Henry hovers are brilliant . They have a very long power lead so u don't have to keep unplugging it to go into another room. I can Hoover the whole of the upstairs of my 4 bed roomed villa without having to change plugs.

Just wondering if this was the lady doc at City Hospital ?? I had an appt a few years ago, waited nearly an hour. When I finally went in, she was asking her nurse to go and get here some chocolate because she was so hungry....she then sat during MY appt munching on a snickers bar , sounds like it could be the same Doc ?

We lived there for a while, and had many fantastic adventures. Our children were 12, 10 and 9 at the time. Have a look at Kitugala. We stayed at the Royal River Resort, only had 4 bedrooms , 2 of them over hanging the rapids. We then had a white water rafting trip.... it was great fun, not too challenging for the little ones. Elephants were great and the kids were interested in the turtles. We Stayed at Mirissa beach club , which is actually far from a club but is a wonderful safe place to stay. Pollydxb is quite right , there is a long journey between Pinnawela and Kogala... maybe look at arriving into the new airport Matalla then driving up to the elephants and flying from colombo ? Another idea would be to go on a safari in Yala , or stay in a tree house .....
