I know, I'm just being a wuss. I should do it, but DH is travelling at the moment and I can't hold them still and cut at the same time. They absolutely hate having it done. They do get used to it-mine actually spread out their claws to make it easier-seem to enjoy the attention-try doing it when they are relaxed on your lap

Providing you just cut through the clear tips it will be fine-do my cats all the time-even if you err on the side of caution and just take the very tips off you will save the furniture-you'd just need to do it more frequently

Always use the post office box and it gets here quickly. On the plus side one order was a little slower than the others and after I contacted them they sent me a free duplicate order-so perhaps you could try that-but request it be sent to your PO box this time round

I think they keep aside a number of tickets to buy on the day-they are way more expensive so I guess it depends how much you want to do this-give them a ring and check

Or a bunch of multicoloured feather boa's from Dragon Mart wrapped around her body and arms, black tights, a beak made out of cardboard and elastic, and send her as a parrot / toucan. Cute idea-they could be all pink and she could be a flamingo too!

I called the Real Estate agent to ask the price (I searched everywhere for the ad in the Trading Post - wasn't there - so had to look elsewhere) and, while we could have talked for hours, I just got to the question of price. He told me $195'000 - I told him he was dreaming! Anywho, my elephants trunk is still up in the pool room, so with that luck maybe the price will become more reasonable. I almost have the 185 but need to get me a pair of jousting sticks so can't get both. And, on the original feedback, I too felt sooooo proud to be Australian as I watched. I love our country. I love our people. I loved growing up there. Wuffles, I know the ad you're talking about!! I think I saw your daughter too! A boy I went to school with also had a sister in the ad/choir :) How cool-lets all chip in and buy a piece of Bonnie Doon-we would need to extend and add a pool room there too though and a pen for the greyhound guard dogs perhaps?

Yep...cried!!! That'so cool Wuffles that your daughter sang in the ad's! It is nice-she still sings it iunder her breath when she is happy-it really gets stuck in your head-especially when you perform it as many times as she did-but she still loves it-they had the best time being flown here there and everywhere doing the ads-and later she flew twice to LA for the G"Day LA promotions round Austraia Day

25% off everything and up to 40% off sofas I believe. Definitely still open and it has the best store manager I've come across in Dubai! :) Funny you should say that-I was thinking similar nice things about the manager in the clothing stire there too tonight

Also if you haven't been for a while you will be pleasantly suprised how much dentistry has improved-don't like going nyself but have found the most incredibly gentle dentist in Dubai who removed all my fears

wuffles - he actually would be a great help to have around. Very organised (did I just say that?!?) and hands on and I do understand his disappointment but I just think it will be a great big mess if I try to change it now, especially with the holidays coming up next week. Can he compromise and work a partial day? Go in early-change the time of his meeting if he has one etc??? Worl late after the party? Nope - it's a huge audit. There is no way he cannot be at work. I suppose I'm just really cross because if I don't change it there is going to be a bad feeling about the party instead of it being fun and exciting leading up to the party.I don't think he will make me feel bad but I will anyway because I know he was looking forward to it and wanted to be there. Well, the decision on my part is made, party plans will not change but I'm really disappointed because this situation was avoidable. Hard one-guess you can say it is important to have it when granny is there-which won't happen every year-whereas he can be there other years-providing he gets the date right!!! Fingers crossed they speed through thee audit and he gets home early

I think you will have to cope without him-would he have been much practical help anyway? Would be a shame for granny to miss the fun. Oh and I love the idea of having a 'rant' or "I need to vent section' to add to all the others-knew something had been left out of the new line up!!!!!!!:)

Always cry when I hear it-my beautiful (well I am biased) daughter did the earlier series of commercials for Qantas and was the lead singer in the ads-they used a pretty blond girl for the face though-she travelled all over the world doing the ads but one of her favourite things was when they sang it impromptu on the various flights and watched the passengers reactions close up!

If it is just a police name check they can access the forms online and apply-gppgle police name check and the state you and-for the next level up you need finger printing etc-I think it may depend on the state they are going to as well

I had DR Raj 18 months ago throughout my pregnancy and she gave me a c section, just discovered im pregnant again and ive booked in with her for 3 weeks time ( shes a great Doctor) never a problem getting appointments with her...I think i must have had waited twice for more than half an hour due to her having to go to an emergency. I believe there are new delivery/labour rooms at the American due to the new building opening dont quote me on that i will find out at my appointment. Midwives and nurses were all good with me any problems they would come to your room...any help with the baby they are their for you. i was in hospital for 4 days after, and i truly enjoyed my stay there. The only negative thing was the food lol The new building is up and running complete with the new delivery suites and rooms
