The hospital chemist adminsters 50,000 iu - taken once a week once prescribed by a doctor. I've been on it for a year, plus had 2 injections of 600,000 iu and my levels didn't increase at all. They later discovered I have celiacs so you may want to further examine.

Checked the website but while its listed as a location, there isn't a map or directions. Does anyone know as it would be quite handy in terms of location. Much appreciated.

Unfortunately sign of the times. I have a friend who lost her job and then her husband lost his a week later, both due to downsizing. They are both professionals who worked with big international organisations so I dont think anyone is immune in this market. Hope your husband finds something soon too.

Sorry to hear of your experience. I have used Union Movers based on recommendations from two of my friends and then recommended them to another two friends who also used them and we all found their service to be excellent, they packed and unpacked everything for us and did it all in one day - we were very pleased with them and would def use them again. Again, am sorry you had a negative experience, moving is such a pain without the added pressure of not being happy with the movers. We've had the same great experience and moved with them now 4 times. We definitely don't let them leave however until their done and offer food/beverages as they are tired by the end of the day. We've even had them come back one time as they left one storage room totally unpacked. The key was however, not paying until they were done. I am so sorry that you went through this as they are generally very good. I've recommended them and friends who used them have also recommended them so it seems odd. Perhaps they had a bad day. So sorry they ruined your stuff - Thats horrible. I would be livid too.

Thanks everyone. She had tonsilitis last week and she started antibiotics (augmentin liquid) but the vomitting started a few days after. Took her back as I was concerned and he said could be related to antibiotics and a virus. She is very cranky, lethargic and irritable. She can't even take in small sips without vomitting it back up. Have tried toast, saltines, rice cakes, banana, yoghurt, - now she's refusing even water. I agree will take her for second opinion today and test for rotavirus - thanks ladies, I dont want to seeem overzelous but its quite hot here so nervous to take risks

we got ours from mothercare. They are velcro as well so if they are NICU, it is great. We only bought and needed 6 b/c before we knew it, she grew into newborn. She was 1.5 kg and they even had that size. I'm sorry I've packed them away already or I would have given you a few. I've kept one for her for when she's older so she can see what a trouper she was! edited by xmasbaby on 02/03/2012

Thanks so much everyone! I will check out the fridge and the Ruth Chris - was dying to anyway! Purple I passed on your info but what she said was b/c the antibodies were positive (i think 3 tests) they doctor said a biopsy wasn't necessary as that alone was quite indicative...She also has hashimotos and apparently they are both automimmune conditions where gluten is a problem so she was quite happy to go off of it. Do you think they should do the biopsy as well despite the positive tests?

My best friend and her daughters have gluten intolerances. They are in the diagnostic stage so Celiac is not confirmed. Having said that, they tested positive on the antibodie tests so they are no longer eating gluten. They are visitng and would like to check out a few restaurants and I don't know where to go. Any suggestions? (p.s. just in case someone's concerned - yes they know i'm posting this!)

Debanums also has the brands gorgous and chantelle for DD-K. I'm a 36E had got a whole bunch of sets last month. Have ordered from Bravissimo but found it was hard to get the right fit where as these too brands are quite consistent once you try one.

Red - thanks - I think what Irooni meant was that when when one reads "repton has shut - sandstorm" it creates panic for those of us whose kids do go there b/c if we hadn't received the emails as yet, we would worry where are kids are if the school had shut and whats happened to them and wonder why we weren't notified etc. It would have created fear for me as my child is in early years and I would have freaked if the school shut and i didnt' know... but since I had already read the email, I was fine with it. Thanks though, its clear your intention was to be informative!

Just seen a tweet saying Repton School has closed because of weather "Dear Parents, The School has been made aware that the current weather conditions may potentially deteriorate further. Due to this forecast, today’s Prep and ECAs have been cancelled and the whole School will close at 2:40pm. This is a precautionary measure in response to the high volume of calls received this morning from concerned parents. Buses will depart at 2:45 and there will be NO LATE BUSES today. Please help to circulate this information where possible. Kind regards, Repton School"

They are shutting at 2:40 sharp to be exact. All ECA's are cancelled. Pick as normal but no late activities due to weather conditions becoming worse.

agree with you Freckly, they need to tighten the reins for next year.. my desert dog is not used to being around children so i really dont know how he would react but he was on a short leash at all times and if children came over just stroke him without asking him i made sure they didnt until he was sat down... last thing i wanted was for him to snap.. luckily he was ok but its just about educating people! yep and also saw a whole heap of kids that were visibly afraid of dogs and running back and fro...Parents if you're child is afraid of a dog, do not bring them to a dog show!

My daughter and I were standing in front of the vets when a volunteer came running by us with the injured dog, blood gushing and clearly about to die. It was horrific and quite traumatic. We have a big dog but we have spent a lot of time with training and socialisation so that our dog is not aggressive. Having said that, we had a rott in the past and he was probably the most gentle dog I've ever met - but again we didn't encourage aggressive behaviour. These are dogs and people have to beware so I was equally annoyed that some dogs who clearly needed a muzzle didn't have one. [b'>There was a german sheppard that was aggressive and barking at everyone - he was horrifying![/b'> It was truly a sad sight to see and I feel so sad for the family whose now lost their dog. I wouldn't find him horrifying. I'd find it incredibly sad to watch. A dog like that is another with irresponsible owners. He's poorly socialised and under incredible stress being there. Sad. :( Sorry let me rephrase that - I found him extremely scary. I once had a 80kg rottie and this german sheppard who was half his size was far more terrifying. He barked at people, dogs regardless of size and his owner couldn't contain him. I saw him leave shortly after the incident. Another thing I want to mention as well was the number of "little" dogs who bark and lunge at bigger dogs. Our current dog is big and the number of little pooches that were barking and trying to lunge at him while we walked by was unbelievable. In one case, we had to move our 2 year old daughter swiftly out of the way as the dog came bolting towards our dog nearly knocking her over in the process. The dog was on a leash and the owner did pull him/her back eventually but there were several off leash. Quite frankly, these little dogs should also be taught not to be so aggressive - its not cute just because they are small. Fortunately, our dog didn't bat an eye. edited by xmasbaby on 05/02/2012

Yes, its horrible, I guess I just dont get why the owner or the pit bull was made to address the issue? I do feel that a muzzle is ok in public places....especially crowded ones....I am too so sorry for the other dog and family. I just wanted to make a point that its not always a dog fault....we do raise them....... edited by saintlouismama on 05/02/2012 I completely agree with you!

Thanks but due to the change in law in June 2009, there is a new process which seems to be why there is so much confusion. I was literally at the Immigration counter in Canada last week and they had no idea - told me to call the hotline who sent me completely different forms to what I found online....You may want to also look into with new arrival on its way :)

It is should have, could have, would have, or should've, would've, could've - I think people hear it, assume the word is "of" instead of "ve" and incorrectly say it that way.

You can lend books too but I think that only some books are eligible for sharing for some reason - if you log into your amazon account and click into the purchased book then lending will be an option in one of the drop down boxes if it is allowed. I think you can lend for 14 days and in that time you can't read the book as well as the person who has borrowed it. Haven't tried it myself yet, was reading up on it last week. Or - like has already been said - you can have both registered to your account - but that then means that if you have the one click ordering thing set up then if she ordered a book then it would automatically be paid for by you. edited by dibdab on 05/12/2011 ya thats fine - I would pay anyway. Sounds perfect then - I had to add a second kindle onto my account recently because mine broke - you just register a kindle in the same way that you did with your first one and then you click into each of the books and send to the new kindle as well. Not sure if there may be an issue with reading the books at the same time as each other or anything like that but if you google you will find the info. Brilliant thanks !! I've looked into it and as long as you dont sync you can read at the same time! This is awesome!

I bought my 6 year old, disney shares (i get them shares every year in the actual certificates so that they can learn about it and it might be worth something when they get older), FIJIT doll, royal mint coin (she's obsessed with Prince Wiliam and Kate) and a tiffany charm for her bracelet.

Its usually pretty fast. When I know there's been a delivery, I usually send an email under their customer service, saying i'm aware a package was delivered but not yet showing up. Once, the package from Amazon was incorrectly labelled and they didnt knwo who it belonged too and I got it back - thank goodness due to emailing and the second time, they couldn't explain the reason in NYC but were able very quickly get into my account and to me. Best bet really.

We are thinking of doing Day 1 - from Amman Airport (8:30 am) to Dead See Day 2 - Wadi Rum (do we stay there? or head to Petra? Day 3 - Petra Day 4 - Petra and then to Amman for dinner Day 5 - Amman (morning tour) but flight at 4:30 so head to airport at 2ish? Any suggestions on things we can leave out - or days that I'm thinking in each location
