I know of a three bed with two parking spaces in the pearl that's available. I think rent might be slightly higher than your budget, but if you are interested can you leave a way to contact you? I don't have a junk email account that I want to post but if you have an email or phone number I can contact you!

Does anyone know or recommend a dr for treatment of PMDD? Usually it is treated with a SSRI but taken differently than standard everyday so would I have to see a psychiatrist or since it is gyno related a gynecologist in qatar? I am never sure which department to go to. I was just diagnosed but am returning shortly so I need to find someone! Second part- is Zoloft available?

Maple, I am ashamed to say I don't remember her name, but I was planning on going in the next few days and can get the name and number. I am very picky about layers, if they are done wrong my hair can end up looking like a mushroom (poofy on top with just straight long ends coming down) or just really choppy looking like my two year old did it. I have to have small layers throughout so it all blends and falls nicely, which I guess is something hard to find here. I had to outline exactly what I wanted and direct as she cut, but she listened and gave a few suggestions showing before she cut it and it all worked out :D

To be honest, I have had the best luck with just going to the local beauty salon in a villa near my house! It doesn't look the fanciest on the outside (just a nice villa) but it is clean and well done on the inside. Cut/and dry for something like 70 QR! I have had WAY better cuts here than the more often recommended places you see on this forum. I don't even want to talk about some of the hair disasters I have had. I am very fussy about my haircut too, and would never recommend a place that would be bad. For the record I have straight long thick hair. The one I go to is Emerald Beauty Salon off the RA that leads to the US embassy or on the way to landmark. I think the RA on Al Makkaw St. Here are the google cordinates: 25.314177,51.46073 I haven't tried the coloring, but I was watching them do another lady, and it looked quite nice. I also get my eyebrows threaded there, and they always give a nice massage after :D

Cal_hob I usually go between 11:30-1 and never have a problem. When I go in the evening it is crowded but even then I have not had a problem. I have a 2 year old, and usually the bigger kids just like to play with him! I wouldn't worry about it. I have been there many times even when schools are there and never had a problem. There is so much land area that if you happen to be there when a school is, just go to another part. There are three playgrounds- two out in the open and one more hidden by soccer fields and swim center.

Cal_Hob, it's not normally like that. There are three different playgrounds, and during the day they are not crowded at all. I usually go every day, and while I have seen plenty of school field trips luckily none were like this. It's really a nice place for the little ones. My two year old loves it, and if you go bring bread to feed the ducks! I will say, I was at the MIA park one day when there was a school field trip and it was like bedlam. It was elementary age and I cannot even count how many fistfights (!!!))) I saw during the 30 mins I was there.Boys actually punching eachother in the face, yelling, throwing eachother to the ground. Plus all the children pushing and shoving off the play structures. I was shocked. Of course, the teachers did nothing.

I'm not sure the legality of this, but I *might* have known women to find babysitters/cleaners from their salon they frequent. For example, going to the same salon over and over getting a manicure, maybe ask the lady you recognize what their day off is, and if they or anyone else there is willing to babysit on their day off or on the day needed. Has worked a few times for friends!

I would not recommend buying from C4. Things usually have a way of breaking right away, and even if they come with a warrenty trying to get it enforced is a bit of a headache here.

Karisma at Hyatt Plaza has a good selection or curling irons, flat irons, and hot rollers. Their quality is what you would get at Target or Walmart. Also the electronic store on the top floor at Centre Point has a really good selection. Hope this helps.

I have had two babies here in Doha, one at Ahli and one at Emadi. Ahli had very nice facilities, and it was ok, but appt. waiting times were awful and there was always some sort of paperwork mishap that made things take forever- and forget about getting any test results. The birth was ok, I did not like the on call Dr. but my Dr (Dr. Dani) when she got there was great. The on call Dr. was trying to push me into choices I did not want (unneeded c-section) but luckily my Dr. stepped in an delivered naturally. Although I do really like my kids ped there- Dr. Anwar. This last August I gave birth at Emadi, and while not a brand new as Ahli, it was great. My Dr. was Dr. Najla and the policy was, whatever I wanted carewise, I got. Baby was with me the whole time never out of my sight, they were very pro breastfeeding and I know there is a rumor going around that they don't offer epidurals- but they obviously do. Since I was healthy and didn't have any complications I was able to discharge quite early! I recommend you just go check out each hospital and see what you are comfortable with- in the end that's all that matters.

watchseries.eu I use this site to watch all the shows from back in the US, plus they have just about every other show you can think of. Doesn't work on ipads- but fine for a PC or mac! Enjoy

I was told that this tax is only for UPS, DHL and FedEx- who knows why. For what it's worth the tax is not applied to Aramex. It has something to do with the other companies... Doha reasonings and all...

If you are talking about Moroccan Oil brand hair and skin products, they carry the full line of it at Al Nazih Beauty supply shop on Salwa road... it's in the slip right after Jarir Bookstore and directly opposite Salwa from the big Nissan Dealership. If you are talking about the actual oil- like Moroccan Argon oil, the pharmacy at Landmark carries it, they have the soap and pure oil. I use the oil on my hair and skin- it's fantastic! There is also a stand that sells it right next to the Starbucks at Landmark and it is the same stuff found in the pharmacy. I really cannot recommend it enough.

Maple: just try amazon.com at this link http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss/186-5293200-6002437?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=detachable+showerhead+filter&x=0&y=0 for a showerhead filter. Not sure if you have one of the fixed showerheads or a detachable one... they have both. Read some of the reviews and you will notice a lot mention the hair problem, and how the filter worked! I had the same problem as you, my hair rebelling against the water- not to mention my skin. I found that Pantene Silk and smooth shampoo and conditioner really helped against the water. Normally I couldn't use this shampoo as it was to drying back home, but here it is great and really gets the chemicals out of my hair. I tested and tried so many shampoos over the last three years and this particular Pantene (it's the green colored one) was the only one that worked. I can even let me hair air dry without looking like the bride of frakenstein. :D Good luck, let us know if you get a filter and how it works!

Hey thanks ladies for the recommendation- do you happen to know which phillips model it is? I was in a store today and they had a few phillips juicers but they did not look like the nicer models! CCDoha: you post somehow reminded me of my easybake oven where it would take an hour to cook one brownie! Thanks for the offer, but I don't think I want to sit around all day to make one glass of juice :P

I go to Vision Salon (behind Chilis C ring, in the same part that Shatar Abbas is) and get mani/pedi and threading complete for 130 QR. They give hand and foot massage, trim cuticles, and will fix an ingrown nail if needed. Compaired to the treatment and service I would get back in the USA, I would same it is the same! In fact the girl who does the threading is amazing, best I have ever had! I do bring my own polish though as I like to use a specific brand, but this has no effect on the cost. No need for an appointment, I just go right in. Cannot recommend them enough

I JUST picked one up yesterday at FFC next to the airport. They were kind of in an odd location near the registers (the ones NOT next to the escalators) one the wall across from the sodas. There were on the bottom shelf near the shampoos/ hair products. There were a big pile of them. Good luck!

There is a chiro's office in the building of my eye Dr's., right across from his office. I have not tried him (I think it was a man, cannot remember) as I just saw his office as I was going to visit my eye Dr. I think he had a bunch of certificates/degrees hanging outside though, so it seems he is well educated. I am not sure if the chiropractor is advertised on the main clinic board, as my eye Dr. was not even listed. It was confusing building with the floor listings, but I believe the office was also across from the pharmacy. You can look around though since there is only one main corridor on each floor. Here are the directions if you want to go check it out: If you are driving from Villagio towards Centrepoint mall on C-Ring road, right before you get to the signal that Centrepoint sits at (also I think Al mana center as well) there is a mint green building on your right. This is the clinic. After you pass the clinic there is the marble apartment building, then then signal. You have to turn right at the signal and slip in on the back road because to access the building, you have to park in the back. I hope this made sense! It is really hard to miss the mint green clinic building! If you try him, let us know how it goes :D

Hi Novice, I go to London salon behind Chili's (C Ring) that is right next to the Eli France Cafe. The haircut is 60 QR and great! I am very picky about my haircuts, and was actually very satisfied going there. They all speak English and as long as you tell the hairdresser exactly what you want, you will get it. Don't be afraid to have them make corrections once they are done. I always want something changed after I see it finished... like a little shorter, or more layers. I had a very hard time find a decent place here that didn't seriously overcharge, and one day I just went to in to try it figuring my hair was already in bad shape since it had been so long since my last cut what did I have to loose? Anyway, I got a GREAT cut and didn't have to hear my husband complain about the cost!! I usually get a mani/pedi and cut for total 140 QR. It really beats the 300 just for a simple (not even great) haircut at some of the fancier places. I was tired of only hearing Glow/Dados as a suggestion! I do know they are open until 9 or 10, so evening will be no problem! Hope this helps.
