Kaia Gerber Named As The New Face Of YSL Beauté

Kaia Gerber just landed a big beauty gig as YSL Beauty's new Global Makeup Ambassador. At 17-years-old she is the brands youngest face, as the model adds another huge accomplishment to her bio.
Kaia Gerber has walked almost every runway during fashion month, starred in campaigns for the likes of Calvin Klein and Chanel, created her own capsule collection with Karl Lagerfeld and graced the covers of every major magazine. She has also been the face of Marc Jacobs Beauty, and is now an ambassador for YSL –there’s no stopping her!
Making us all feel like underachievers, Gerber is no longer considered Cindy Crawford's lookalike daughter (although the resemblance is uncanny) and has created a pretty impressive path of her own.

The model’s first campaign for YSL Beauty will launch in January 2019, as Kaia Gerber will appear in promotions for the new Rouge Volupté Shine moisturizing lipstick, Touche Éclat, and Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils.
Gerber revealed “To be the new face of YSL Beauté is an opportunity to write a new story full of fun, color and makeup," in a recent press release. "I love the DNA of a brand that is so subversive while being so luxurious and cool!”
Whilst YSL described Kaia as the “perfect embodiment of her generation’s desire for authenticity and edginess, as a muse and ambassador she will convey these values which entirely resonate with what YSL Beauté stands for." It already sounds like the perfect partnership!
