My daughter has had laser surgery so she has v sensitive skin too. I use bioderma kids for her. They specifically have a physical sunscreen for kids. Alternatively eucerin for kids also is good. Avoid avobenzone, oxybenzone as these mess with the hormonal system of the body.

If its 10mins away.. techinically, u just need to leave by 6:55, including buckling up one child into car seat. So if you can manage breakfast and dressing up during 6:30 - 6:55.. I think you can do with waking up at 6:15 and just feeding baby if need be. And then let baby nap with DH till you get back. Or best solution, let DH drop 3yr old to school in morning.. and u pick him up :) Hope it helps.

haha, 24hrs? Silly as it is, my dh and i bumped into each other when we opened doors from opposite sides... we both had common friends with us that time, and everyone who saw us also saw the stars and hearts that i saw :D I told him the very next day that I would be marrying him... it took him abt 9 months to figure that out tho :) That was abt a decade ago. But alhamdhulilah here we are 2 kids down :)

I would say it is not possible, unless your cycles are highly irregular. Actually my periods were v regular but my cycles were totally off the chart.. ovulation dates dont fall exactly on the 14th day.. So, op, yes, its quite possible. Buy urself a home pregnancy test and verify :) Good luck!! :)

Maybe u can wake 15-30mins earlier and finish ur shower and dressing up and then just the rest of time before leaving home with DD... maybe she just want a slightly longer cuddle? Or maybe she just wants to smell u longer... :) Whatever it is, just remember its not forever.. :) Ignoring a crying child... well different ppl different thoughts.. but she is only got u to turn to when she is sad or uncomfortable... :)

Actually you should get the gel/ointment type lubricant for the eyes. Just ask any pharmacist. The gel types are v thick and really help in keeping eyes moist. Best to be applied at night before bed cos it does make the vision blurry for a bit cos of the thicknes.. but v v soothing. Unfortunately I dont have a tube right now, else i would've given u the name. Use drops for mornings.

it doesnt matter if u r arab or not... u just need to be muslim. Most mosques have a section for women... just follow where the women go. What u do in the mosque.. well u do salat as per the imam. If its v difficult for u to fo qiyam ul layl, u can do it at home u know. Just wake an hour before fajr and do 2 rakats.. its sufficient really. The lots of dua, read the quran. Its between u and Allah really.. :)

I know wat u mean.. i hate them ****** vaginal scans and have refused them ever! As hello again kitty says, refuse anything that u are uncomfortable with.. no doctor has a right to force u to do what they want.. internal scans, pelvic exams, etc etc... nothing needs to be stuck in there for a check up! So many lovely doulas in dubai, Elizebath bain, silvia winkler, andrea guy, do a search for any of the names and u shud be able to find contact info.. al highly recommend! Oh and I highly recommend Dr. Elsa at city hospital. She definitely doesnt force u to do anything u dont want to, unless u or the baby;s life is in danger. edited by shaf on 22/08/2011

1 - Its my home and I miss it like crazy (living in another place now :( and no i am not emarati) 2 - The shininess of everything - the malls, mall bathrooms, the cars, the roads when the lights are up 3 - Everything is so near, almost every residential area has a large mall, clinic etc 4 - Foods from all over the world 5 - Sales staff, etc are polite (pomegranate - come to doha if u think pp in xb are rude) 6 - Shk zayed road - without the traffic - every where is so easily accesible thanks to it 7 - Culture - When u go out, its harder to find emaratis these days! 8 - Even in the crazy heats of july/august u can find a place to go and cool down indoors 9 - Lots of places for kiddies entertainment - pretty much all ages from 2 and above - especially good if u have children 10 - Shk Mo - I love the man.. he has made dubai what it is and it rocks! Every country has its negatives and so does dubai, but having been there for 3 decades, no other country in the world has achieved what dxb has in that short a time! He is the only ruler who i know of who you can actually spot driving his own car, or maybe even at the mall! :) He rules!

Elsa rocks!!!! I wanted to deliver on hands and knees and she agreed to without fuss. And i did deliver on hands and knees. :) I had said I dont want any chemicals and that also I got. I am terrified of the canula and of stitches and she dint give me either. At 4am in the morning she actually remembered that I dint want the umblical cord to be cut unti it stopped pulsating and she stopped the nurse from cutting the cord till then. She did not let the baby be taken away from me and when I wouldnt turn she insisted that i turn onto my back and hold the baby in all its much and glory! I love her!!

Hi Shaf, Yeah, the guy in the shop said it was "designer". I dont really know how you tell the difference tho to be honest! It was a beautiful outfit but I was a bit surprised at the price as i didnt think there was that much embroidery on it. Well.. if u dont know the designer, it doesnt make much sense does it? :) If u hunt around, I am sure you can get a fab outfit for max AED 700.. and I mean really fab with all the bling and all. Look into the alleyways.. they have gorgeous stuff in terrible looking shops.

Sure! In fact he went on a guys weekend last year and this year i am off to amsterdam with my friends. It is understood that we dont go for holidays with ppl of the opposite gender. Plus, i think its good for both of us to have a break once a year for a week.. cos even when u go on holiday as a family, as lovely as it is, u still do have to change the diapers and give tiny pp a bath and stuff! :)

His hair wasn't that long. It was neat. My MIL now thinks that it would be better for us only to call once a week as the kids were upset and cried after we skyped last night. My daughter actually had her bags packed and wanted to come home Why exactly are they still there? You son just had a traumatic haircut. Your daughter has packed her bags. Seriously, what are u waiting for? Loving grandparents or not, when your kids want to come home, they need to come home. And once a week to talk to the kids who are 4 & 6?? Is she for real??

I read this book that really disturbed me. It was about a child who was born with a medical condition that left her dependent on a carer forever. The story dealt with the mother;s emotions, how it feels, etc etc and a legal case on wrongful birth. Anyways, long story short, i wanted to know what real mothers thought. So please note, my aim is not to offend anyone, so if i type out the question wrongly, forgive me. I know once a child is born, disabled or not, we cant stop loving them. But I just want to know, if you knew your child had a disability/special need/handicap, a severe one that would require the child to need special care for the rest of her life, early death, etc.. would you abort it? I mean, if you already knew when the child was in the womb that there is a problem, would u go ahead and have it? Considering also, that you already have one or more other kids. Oh and the book i read was "Handle With Care" Jodi Picoult.

Anybody know for sure? Gyne said to go in and see doc, they will list it as something wrong and not an elective procedure and then they can do it. My DH had his done in Abu Dhabi - surgeon did it with local anesthetic at his practice with his nurse as he could record it as a hydroceles (not sure of spelling sorry) and as there was no hospital staff to say otherwise it was paid by our insurance. DH wasn't too keen on the local but he said he felt no pain and he was given lots of medication to take home - he recovered quickly and no more babies - we have 11 children and he didn't want a dozen ! Good luck and I'm sure you will find a doctor otherwise repost and I will give you our Drs number :) Just one Q: what car do you guys own? 11 kids.. thats like my dream!!!! :) Lucky u!

DEFINITELY go for cloud 9's. I still have GHDs in working order, buy my sister bought me a pair of C9's for my birthday almost a year ago, and I absolutely love them, wouldn't use the GHDs anymore (although I've heard they've been improving them to compete with the C9's but they're still not as good) Tell me, what is SO GOOD about them? I am really really tempted to buy one.. but its really expensive! 700 for a straightener? WHat can it do that my babyliss straightener cant do? :)

Legally u are not allowed to eat, but hey! if u are going to faint, i dont think anyone, including the police are going to arrest u for the same. As long as you arent sitting in the middle of the road eating a double beefburger, fries and milkshake and waving at everyone, i think you should be fine to take a quick bite every now and then :) And if u get stopped, just tell them u are pregnant.. a fasting cop cant really arrest a pregnant woman can he? :D
