@ Naiyyar...yes have tried this...looks ok but not great on flavour...How about using cream cheese frosting for your cupcakes...infact you could use almost half the amount of sugar than what a traditional cream cheese frosting calls for and yet not compromise on the flavour...hope that helps:)

Hey babyluv, Just tried a batch of cake pops for a baking demo..I could'nt find candy melts either...I sustituted it by melting some semi sweet choco chips....you have to freeze the pops for a while tho for the shell to harden... The other suggestions are a a brand of choc called Melt easy(available at spinneys in white, pink and choc)Hope this helps:))

Hi abby...apparently the person helping her from Nepal says that if we get all the documents stamped from the agency he would be able to apply for something called a Shram card(employment permit) and she should be able to get here... any thoughts on that....thanx so much

Id say chk with the company that is going to process this business license.... the consultant i met with clearly toldme that the bank account for any business had to be in the nameof the trade license and not a personal account...that's my prob as well...too expensive to do the licensing on one's own....still looking for a solution...will let you know if i get any more info:)) edited by shyzie on 14/12/2011

Hi...pls also remember that if you have a joint business license then you will need to also have a joint bank account in the name of the businee license name...this was the info given to me by a consultant that does FZE business licenses...I thot that part was risky....

Hi there...we lived there for the past 7 yrs and now back in dxb...My son loved Toronto...lots of outdoor activities...esp in the summer....parks,biking,hiking etc... Well with regards to the school...usually it would have to be the public school that is in yr neighbour hood...unless u choose privite schools that can be very pricey...Yes agree downtown areas are expensive....we lived by Bayview and Finch...excellent area and great schools...bayview middle and earl haigh school zone... The yonge/sheppard and yonge/finch or yonge/eglington are great areas...lots of new condos...yes the mls.ca is a great place to search for properties....as for schools check out www.tdsb.on.ca...hope this helps and goodluck with yr move to Toronto:))

Hi...Its a very simple procedure...I just did it a couple of days as we've moved homes....So I first applied for a new activation in the place we've moved into.I then requested DEWA for a final bill...yes you can specify a date that you'd like it disconnectd from...They will then send u a text msg to come and collect the final bill and the balance of yr deposit...(the final bill amt is adjusted against the deposit) I went to the DEWA branch near Mazaaya center...very efficient and quich..and not too crowded as well...hope this helps:))

Hi...ye vitamin deficiency can cause a lot of havoc with hair loss...have very low levels and have been recommended supplements for 3 months... A great routine for the hair is take abt 1 tbsp almond oil and add 1 tbsp castor oil to it...warm it slightly...add a few drops of rosemary oil(body shop has it) and add 1 tsp of gelatine(yes the one used in baking etc) to this mix and massage into the scalp...leave it on for a couple of hours and wash off...recommended by a naturipath....was regularly doing this but have gotten lazy of late...hope this helps...

Amazing and very inspirational thread!!! Have fallen off the track...blaming it on the holidays etc...so need to get back...motivating to read each ones efforts to get going... I've realised what really works for me is to eat the good carbs thu the day but totally no carbs post 4pm....i feel carbs sit heavy in the stomach so if u eat them at night and with little or no activity....the tummy never looks flat...so pump up the protein at night...grilled fish, chicken salads...etc... yes lotsa water too...infact drinking warm water seems to kick start my non existent metabolism:)) Say a glassful 20 mins after every meal...Have a goal to loose abt 6-8 lbs before christmas...hope i can make it..
