Victory Height has a great community feel. Has two swimming pools. The nearest bus service is at Arabian Ranches.

Hi Alhamra has a very large expat community. I would suggest that maybe go to the community pool opposite Al Hamra mall. Also make a visit towards the golf club/Alhamra Fort Hotel were people go for a meal or drink. Also behind the duplex villa there is a park maybe go late afternoon have a walk and hopfully you will see some parents with Kids! From what I recall there is also a rakexpat forum. HTH

Hi Both my daughters had it and at that time i had them removed/burnt. It seemed a painful treatment for a child. I have also been told by a GP that it is also ok to leave and they will drop off.

Thanks ladies.. Managed to sort out good school/nursery for the girls we fly back on the 13th April and they starts on the 16th April. The good thing is that the 4year old gets sibling priority. Also have a 12 year old currently in year 8, getting him into a good school seems more difficult need to go through appeal process but fingers crossed!! Like you said it was painless just needed to download various forms and scan/email to relevant education department. We are moving back to Lancashire. Thanks again

Hi CK30 I saw a poster only yesterday in one of the coffee shops in Motor City, advertising something similar where you can take you little one along and also do a workout. If you want I will get the number when I am next in the coffee shop.

hi, I also had a 5cm fibroid and was recommended by a gyny at medcare to have it removed she spoke very strongly about it. WWnt for a second opinion at london clinic in festival centre dr deamer i think a british gp and was told that they are so common in women that unless its causing u severe bleeding that its best to leave them as there is no certainty that they will not return. I suggest you get a second opinion.

Hi my DD's is in year 2, I don't see many girls with straw hats (mine didn't have one) so its entirely optional. The swimming costume is plain dark blue without JPS logo.

Also what you can do with meat or chicken once its cooked just wash it down to make it less spicier, or even add plain yogurt so its not too hot/spicy

Should have made my self clear. I know it applies but she was not allowed to even play in the kids area as the band stated otherwise therefore she did not enjoy herself!

Just a word of warning the Groupon offer that is currently on for Iceland Waterpark. Kids enter according to height, when we went my kid (6yr old) had to have an adult ticket as she was not short enough. P.S. check height requirement before you purchase.
