My best advice is give your sister your address and tell her to take a Karwa from airport to your house. The taxi driver will know the routes to avoid.

Hi, Qatar Airways have compound accomodation in AKG (permanent), Pink Villas and Al Markiyha. I have also heard that their policy of not offering permanent was changing (recently they have only provided 3-4 weeks then youre on your own) Things change every day/week!! All schools close for Christmas but check out the info on this website and links for all the schools and you can check their individual websites. Hi, I have sent many of my visitors on a half day tour, depending on time of year and heat you can choose early morning or evening, I always use Arabian Adventures guy called Ibrahim 55534233. Very Safe and professional, we always have great fun. Tel him the Irish sent you and get a discount!!

Hi Catberry, We go to Pilates at Cloud 9 on Sunday/Tuesday/Thursday 10am but I believe there is new classes running at 9am on Sunday and Thursdays. Teacher is from Uk and is excellent. HTH:)

I use Arabian adventures for all my visitors for Inland sea, they do full/half day and overnight in a lovely camp if desired. Always very happy and theyre safe.

There are two chinese type restaurants between Tv roundabout and Burger king. One is Far East the other is Asian Traditional ( this one is favourite of the Emir apparent) I also prefer Asian Traditional but DD prefers Far East. Food is good and they are both clean. They both do Take-away but you have to collect from Asian Traditional HTH;)

Dr Qush is a consultant Oby/Gyn. I find him delightful, his colleague Dr Suhar (cant spell!) is an arabic lady who is also very good, she is regularly on Arabic Tv and is very well thought of in ME.

This sounds like a wonderful idea but.... Sorry to put a damper, I am a fully qualified chef/ Haccp up to date etc and I'm not sure its possible to do this in your own home here?? (wish it was) My mains concerns would be public liability Insurance. Lets face it, the food will be wonderful but if one person takes ill and it might have nothing to do with the food then how are you fixed?? I think people would love home cooked food here and I'd love to start it as a business but really think a premises/ huge regulations would be required. In the meantime, my family/friends benefit;)

Folks, Just to let you know I have four kids, 22,19,18 & 15 and I still loose it with them. I used to wake up each morning and say today I'm not gonna shout at the kids and somedays it works and some not. don't beat yourselves up it's life! I used to feel soo bad after a not so great day (DH away a lot) but after all said n done my kids are normally happy n content and yes I still yell every so often!!

DebK Dentists name is Thelma, she is fantastic, soo caring. I had an extraction with stitches and she even called me at home to make sure I was ok. I've taken all my kids there too and they love her.:)

Nails upstairs at Landmark or Dados westbay. Both do shellac and its wonderful. Having worked as a chef for many years I could never paint my nails or they never lasted long. The shellac lasts for about 3 weeks:)
