There is walk in desert each week end, and they arrange lift from Dubai. it s organized by Expat . contact them on their page. it s popular and very well organized Stray Dogs Center UAQ and it s free. or safari a la carte and to find one to show wild animals that it s more pricy platinium heritage - also you have the free visit at ras al khor wildlife sanctuary , it s full of flamingoes they feed - it s in google map not far and very nice. We received a legal eviction notice of 12 month for the reason that LL sell the villa. We moved out and we discovered that house is again rented. Dubai style.. If anyone has experience dealing with Rental- Disputes Committee on this issue and could advice it would help. Its not free to login a complain (3.5% of the rent). LL is Egyptian and has lot of construction companies... So it can be a big fight with no result... would appreciate if someone has win a case ?? thanks

hi, we are in JGE since 4 years and moved to Redwood town house. I can admit it s nice and green as you are on the golf. the best quiet are with golf view. they also hve pool plus the one of the club house. If you are golfer it s nice to be there, I don't play golf but love the nature. access to al Khail road is very quick and not traffic , except Hessa street in a morning at peak time. You have also Carrefour Maisem centre and now a choitram in JGE. so pratical as just next. Redood is not yet finish but soon. so still lof of noise and workers around. hope it can help. rgds

hi, I am French and head of animal welfare since 8 years in Dubai. it s very easy to take your cats to France. you have to book th e cats on same ticket than you. you need to have vaccination updated one month before to travel . and health certificate from the vet. i can send you procedure to admin at friendsofanimalsdxb dot com or look in google to our website friends of animals i will assist - regards Nathalie

i can share my esperience as i had similar situation. i started yoga Iyengar. it s a yoga for rehabilitation of back issues. everything is with support like brick, belt etc... . i don't have pain anymore on my back and i was before to chiropractor and ostheopathe every month. you can look in youtube how it looks like. there is only 5 teachers in Dubai and you can find details in google. rgds

you can find dogs food and and supplies but more expensive. go on google and write dog food online in Dubai you will have all websites with prices and details.You can also buy in all vet clinics. rgds

there is lot of issues in JI, lot of cut of water, also if the landlord have not maintain the house, there is lot of problems. I stayed 6 years there. Most of house have not been maintained. also people have huge bill of Dewa due to leak from pool or irrigation system that you can not see until you see the bill....

did you check if cat microchip at any vet. it s free. there is so much abandoned animals right now. all animals group are overloaded of abandoned pets. if you can foster it during summer, adoption will start again in September. contact all animal group to help to rehome this cat if now owners found... thanks to have help him... we only relay on Samaritan in Dubai.

If I am not wrong , they can not come on tourist visa, but you can do an entry visa which works. my neighbors did entry visa for sri lanka maid and it works. go to mazaya centre, there is an office named pan gulf service in one of the entrance and they know everything. they have been very helpful. good luck.

Friends of Animals book sales this weekend at Mirdif Uptown, bottom of Spinneys escalators, 9-6pm Friday and Saturday. they also accept second hands books/CD and any clothes, household items etc. for our regular garage sales too. in order to continue neutering project in Dubai.

did you have similar issue ??? it seems a big mess in their warehouse. I gave a sofa to cover but they lost 4 cushions that they can not find... it s good brand and hopefully they will find them.... Azores is recommended on this forum... hopefully I am the only one with this issue ??

I am a big fan of sheanuts butter. it has help exzema of my son, it s good for hair, for the skin for hand for everything. I get mine from Shirley conlon organics you can look in google . she is selling in arte and other place . she has also a page in fb. it buy it since 4 years and it s good smell and very good for reasonable price.

there is pure breed pomerian dog 9 month old for adoption at friends of animals. send an email to admin at friendsofanimalsdxb dot com or send via their website. thanks adopt, and don't buy as so many dogs looking for forever home. I have adopted one since 3 years this is a lovely dog so sweet with my children. a pearl !!!

well I am French and tried different dentist in Dubai until I found a French dentist who is here since 15 years and I am very happy with him . it s not Dr Burcez. you have good and bad dentist everywhere. it s not question of nationality....

Modern veterinary doesn't it. I think I paid aed 50. yes you trim nails when cats are inside and they don't use their nails naturally outside . and they grow up fast.

Had lived many years on west Africa including Abidjan and Dakar. I don't recommend to hire a maid from there. they don't speak same French than in France , not easy to understand even for French, Also difficult to trust them.... , I was guide for Dakar expat women and help English speaking to recruit maid, it was headhache....
