Hi, can anyone suggest any safe and reliable part-time child care options please. I don't mind stay at home mums who may be looking for part-time work. I need someone to be able to pick my 2 children (aged 5 and 9) up from school (Doha College - West bay Campus) at 1.10pm and I will then pick them up by 4.00pm (Sun-Thurs). Thanks in advance. Hiya Came across your post. Have you found anyone yet or you still looking. And how much are you willing to pay ? Thanks

hi! so im thinking of starting dance classes in Doha, bollywood and dance aerobics for the ladies, and freestyle/hip hop just for kids. I used to run a dance studio in india, and id love to know if this is something you guys are interested in! im new in Doha, so i dont really have the pulse of the city yet :) hi I am new here in doha too. I was looking for Bollywood dance classes myself. My daughter is 9 years old and me and her would love to join your classes if u start. Please keep us updated. Thanks and good luck :-)

Thanks Dina244! I really appreciate your feelings. My year one son is still waiting for updates from DC as they told us the same thing...that we will hear from them about his status in March. The assessment is confirmed for my year 6 son in March but no definite time yet. Let's stay in touch...and hopefully we meet in Doha in August :) Hiya Did your son had the assessment and how did it go?

Do we need to attest the reports in our home country and then take them to SEC in quarter ? Also can the reportable attested by the school themselves?

Hi @A3 I used to live in AKG (we lived there for almost 4 years) and we enjoyed a lot our time there. Great sense of community and you have all the facilities just inside the compound. You even have an Al Rayyan laundry store (the one that does QR uniforms) so it is very convenient! About schools, Doha British School is the closest one but it is really difficult to find a place so I would suggest you should begin the process right now! It is better to go in person and keep going...perseverance is the key word here! I don't suggest any other school because traffic is really difficult here.... Hiya We have been given an apartment in ain khalid.can anyone please let me about the closest and good British schools near ain khalid and is ain khalid a good compound ? Thankyou

Thankyou so much for your helpful reply and yes I was talking about ain khalid gate compund.my husbands is already there and me and my kids will be joining him as soon as kids get in the schools.i have a 12 year old son and 8 year old daughter.really struggling woth which schools to apply in. I would prefer them both going to the same schools.at the moment they go the am independent school in London ,which means that I will need to give them a terms notice too. Everything seems very confusing as I have never even visited doha and not sure what to expect.kids education is the biggest concern and wouldn't mind relocating if kids am get into one of the best schools which I know isn't easy. What area to live in would you recommend and the schools.....
