Their collection is made all in China and you can see most of it here: http://bit.ly/161E1ze Try Maria et Katerina in Mazaya centre. Downstairs opp Homes R Us x I agree. A friend of mine got her wedding dress there at v short notice for about AED700 (!!) and was v happy with it. Many of the styles are quite elaborate (compared to western stores) but if you take the time to sift through them there are some real gems there. I bought a full length prom-style dress there a few years ago for AED490 and it was fab! Could easily have passed as a wedding dress. They actually have several stores in Dubai: http://www.dubaichronicle.com/2012/03/14/wedding-dresses-formal-gowns/

Blogger is the easiest and the fastest blogging platform, because belongs to Google. Pages on Blogger get indexed faster than from the Wordpress platform. Only you should buy a domain name to stand out of the crowd and change the favicon to mask Blogger's orange B.

The national day celebrations will also run for nearly 2 weeks in the end of November / beginning of December. It seems folks high above want the population to relax and enjoy more, and to spend more money in the malls.

In my opinion, the "World class British education system" is barely an advertising campaign aiming at attracting foreign investments from allover the world since decades. Most of the education systems of the other European countries are far broader and provide detailed knowledge on a richer variety of subjects. Real educators do not need to beat the drums to get paid or to attract investments! Far broader education systems provide far broader understanding of the world and its history. And if British educated individuals know a little about the world's history, others can surprise them with detailed knowledge on the British history. Since the 15th century, England has been making the ends meet by extracting riches from the colonies - good-natured, peaceful nations around the world. Now, they have become smarter and have iPads and Blackberrys, and toke charges of their own affairs. To cut the story short, here you can read more details from the main-stream media on what the world thinks about Cameron's fiasco: http://www.reuters.com/article/2011/12/11/us-eurozone-britain-idUSTRE7BA0BD20111211 edited by AAQ on 11/12/2011

Ladies, you are either British or out of the UK since ages, not to mention most prop ably blondes. Britain is bankrupted since the Elizabetian era. No chance to compare to the European nations. Excuse my German education and typos of the iPad :)

What is your budget? Boutique hotels in that area are at around 200 euro per night for standard room, with fewer comforts than Dubai's five stars.

There are some nice lego sets on Amazon, that are two or three times cheaper and even not available anywhere in Dubai. Castles and knights are plenty :)

You know there will be some cool Santa movies during the Dubai Film Festival. I am going to The Muppets tomorrow, but saw two Christmas movies in the programme of the cinema for children. Here also, nice photos: http://www.dubaichronicle.com/2011/11/20/the-muppets-red-carpet-gala-to-headline-diff%E2%80%99s-cinema-for-children/

Hahahha :0, if it is written CASH on its front and back, please drop it into my account. Otherwise, most of the banks nowadays have deposit option on the ATMs where you can drop the cheque for collection or deposit cash.

Yup, I am planning to feast on Chinese food! Do the Chinese show an attitude towards non-Chinese? Like for example do they swear at you in Chinese while smiling or try to cheat any way they can?

Now is the right time to get a loan, any type of loan, because inflation is rising and you will get value for less in the long term. When searching for it, it is also important to consider the history of the lender. Tamweel's shares, for example, just few months ago re-started trading on the stock market, because the company is or it was on the edge of bankruptcy. Otherwise, it offers now home loans with 4.99% interest. Abu Dhabi Finance is good and stable home loan provider, as it is a consortium of three government-backed parties. In general, government-backed regional banks (ADCB, FGB, NBAD, UNB, Abu Dhabi Islamic, ENBD) are the better options, as these are more reliable, flexible and cheaper. edited by AAQ on 02/12/2011

From today in Dubai cinemas: Drama which stars Tahar Rahim, Antonio Banderas, Mark Strong and Freida Pinto, charts the expansion of oil mining in the Middle East. The film does provide a certain – albeit highly retro – epic charm, and the sweeping desert vistas, scores of camels, tanks and extras, feel like they belong to one of those Hollywood super-productions of the 50s or 60s.

Here the point is that what is going on is fundamentally wrong and many people have been cheated during the last 4 years. Most important, such experiments with the future of thousands children should not go that easily.....

Not exactly so...100s of thousands plus future damages calculated for 4-5 years on 200k package basis. It comes to a handsome amount and even if you get 10%, it will cover the losses and provide for repairs. It depends who you are and how far you can go. There is always a first time! In addition, imagine all the media noise one could make....

Mount Lavinia is great - live band by the pool & fantastic food, especially Friday brunch. You can visit even if you do not stay in the hotel. Most popular transport in Colombo is tuk-tuk, but do not pay more then 200 in their currency.

In Colombo there are 4 stores that sale Noritake. I prefer bone china, but do your homework and check the designs online. On the South, the name of the place was something like Bentota, 150 km from Colombo approx. Tea plantations are also interesting - Nuwarala Ellia is the most interesting one. If I am to visit now, I will take car with driver, go from Colombo to the elephant orphanage, than to Kandy and after on the South. From Bentota back to Colombo. Check also Galle. The history museum is very good in Colombo too.

Three things you can buy in SriLanka: sapphires, Noritake porcelain and Ceilon tea. Hilton is a good hotel. Kandy is boring - there is only one tample and the Noritake factory. Train in SriLanka is a BIG NO No, but you can hire car with a driver for a day. The hotel's concierge will sort you out with a government operator. Costs approx $80 a day. I would recommend the South part - great beach, tortouses , elephant safaris. Pinnawala is worth visiting also on the way to Kandy. edited by AAQ on 12/10/2011

Actually, if someone is sticking right up close behind me, these days I take great delight in sticking right on the speed limit and watch their frustration rise as they try to weave out into the fast moving traffic in the lane to the left. I do the same with my flash lights on while I am calling the traffic department! And I feel happy :)
