I am also now suddenly experiencing this problem - it is very offputting as it makes the posts quite difficult to read, and not being able to see the dates or times they were posted is also unhelpful. I am using my work laptop with IE browser (version 8.0.7601.17514CO). I have tried the various suggestions mentioned previously, but without success. Any additional suggestions about how to overcome this problem would be much appreciated.

Wuffles - thankyou the V&B one looks very nice, but he is really keen on ones which hold treats! So I went to Souq Madinat today and eventually tracked down and bought the one mentioned by Daza, plus some goodies to put into the little drawers. Hopefully he will appreciate it! Thankyou ladies for all your very helpful suggestions - saved me a great deal of shoe leather and stress! PS not having been to Souq Madinat for ages I was pleasantly surprised that contrary to my recollections of overpriced tourist tat it actually has some nice, interesting and different boutiques, a number of which were having great sales, so while I was there I had success with quite a bit of other Christmas shopping as well! Thankyou again and Best wishes for National Day and the Festive Season!

Wow - Daza, Oppsiedaisy and Tattie Bogle thankyou so much for your great suggestions!! I will definitely have a look at all 3 venues you mentioned. In fact the wooden ones sound quite similar to a gorgeous one we saw in Fortnum & Mason when we were in London in September. DH loved it and made strong hints about it at the time, but unfortunately (a) it was GBP 250 and I was at that stage feeling rather broke and (b) there's no way I could have fitted it into my suitcase as it was the size of a large dolls' house! It would be great if I could find something similar but more within budget here - so will check out the shops that you mentioned. Thankyou again for pointing me in the right direction!

I live in Dubai but have an visa application appointment at the Abu Dhabi Embassy tomorrow. The only probloem is that I have been unable to track down the Embassy location!! The website only seems to have the PO Box number, and I have had no luck so far in finding it on any interactive maps etc! Any assistance from those who have been there would be greatly appreciated!!!
