Hello ladies, Has anyone had dental implants done recently? Can you please recommend a good dentist? How much did you pay and how long did it take? Thank you :)

Hi, My husband works at DU. He takes our daughter to school every morning and comes home around 6:30pm for dinner. He does work a bit longer very occasionally if he has a late meeting, and sometimes sends a few emails in the evening from home after he's put our girl to bed. He used to work same hours back in London.

Hello ladies, I am looking for a private swimming teacher for my 4 year old girl, someone who would come to our pool on the Palm once a week. Would you know anyone please? Thank you!

Thank you Lolacat, I have spoken with James and we are starting their dance classes in September! My girl is very excited already. Hayleys Comet looks great and we have expressed interest in their musical theatre too. They are going to see if there are enough children of her age keen to start the class this term. Can't wait now! x

Thank you All! My girl goes to the nursery at the moment and she loves it but she misses her ballet, tap and tennis lessons she used to do in her nursery back in London, where she was full time. That's why I would love for her to do some again after school, she keeps dancing and singing at home constantly :) Her class will finish at 1pm so I believe she will enjoy going somewhere twice a week. We do lots of painting, colouring at home, bake at least once a week and she helps me with dinners too. I honestly can't wait for the weather to cool down so that we can go to the park or pool. We arrived at the end of June so have not spent much time outside! Do you know the James and Alex dance studio btw? It is quite close to us and looks good. Diverse is on the top of my list. Many thanks!

Thank you mrsb., I have done my research for after school activities for my girl but wanted to ask for any recommendations from other mums to make my decision or just in case I missed something! Thank you Nayls85, it looks great, I think Safa's school website says that we need to contact external companies for any after school clubs (they listed a few) so I am kind of looking for things to do closer to home too. My girl used to do ballet and tap back in London so I have found some classes for her. My husband used to take her to rugbytots on Sundays too :) Very excited about starting school very soon! Are you back now? B.

Hello ladies, Do you know if there is Whistles in Dubai? Mall of the Emirates' brochure states that it is located there but I have not been able to find it! Many thanks x edited by Blankacao12 on 18/08/2014

Hi My husband said that he saw an Ariel costume in Party Centre store yesterday. It is located in Media City, it's massive, the best party store I have ever been to :) http://www.dubai-shopping-secrets.com/party-centre.html edited by Blankacao12 on 12/08/2014

I know, they are moving fast now! We drive to have a look at the school almost every weekend, ha ha. Our girl is quite excited about going to a 'big school at the moment but I have read in TimeOut Kids recently that it may be very helpful for the new children to meet some of their classmates before the school starts. We have moved to Dubai only couple of months ago and she still misses her nursery friends from London a lot. I would like to make it all a bit less stressful for her :)
