Hi, My son of about 19 years now studies in Canada and I would like him to stay with us during the summer term break that lasts for about 4 months. He wants to get into an unpaid internship with a suitable company here. The question is: is it good eenough to get him here on visitor's visa OR I should try and get hima residence visa? The problem in getting the residence visa is that DNRD doesn't approve of a residence visa to children studying overseas and who are aged 18 years and above. My question is posed because none of the companies are wanting to sponsor any internship so far as co visa is concerned. They don't want to even go thru the mission visa method. I am completely lost. What's the best method? Please suggest / guide me. Thanks.
