I left the UAE a couple years ago and transported my car from Abu Dhabi to Austria so I don't know much about shipping to the USA.
I do know that you should make sure from the Ford dealer that your car meets USA standards/specifications . They should give you a certificate stating such. If it is not do not bring it to the USA it will be very expensive to convert it to USA standards. Since your car is FORD it should be fine but just make sure and make sure you get a certificate. I had a Volvo and it met EU standards but not USA standards.
Also the shipping was pretty easy as we shipped an entire container of our stuff including the Volvo.
The important thing is to get a good moving company to help you with the customs issues in the USA.
Also please be aware that you may have to pay taxes on your car when bringing it to the USA.
