Oh my god, I was just on my way today to register my 24 month son there, I'm shocked to read the feedback of this nursery and I don't think I would even pay a visit to check it out myself, I live in shorooq and I was looking for a nursery on a 3 days basis as a start and gradually increase it to 5 days, I have already a maid and she's doing good in taking care of Adam but I'm expecting a baby on December and I want to separate the older son gradually from home so he wouldn't feel ignored by any how especially when I'm at work and the maid has to take care of both at the same time, long story I know :-S ! Please if you have any other suggestions, tested and trusted, update me. I have "learning land" nursery here in shorooq 600 m from my home, the closest but some how not convinced with it don't know why!! has any of you tried that nursery before?? Thanks for your assistance Hi Nora Nagi! What did you end up with? Emirates british still seems as the best option even though i haven't visited any of them yet. Also, i'll give crystal valley a visit. The choice is LL, EBN, or CV!

ok Lulu's is in the Arabian Center. I think theirs costs less than 10 dirhams. If you are close to Uptown Mirdif, then try Spinney's. You can try any pharmacy, but you'll pay a lot for the tests. I know where to find the shops, just dont wanna run around the town to find the cheapest..

Now we are getting somewhere. So, if I sell my stuff on, say, etsy or ebay, I wouldn't need a license? In Denmark, you would have to have an income of more than 50000 dkk a year from your shop, before registering as a company. Less than that, you're private. Is it something like that here as well, or do you need a license for very dirham earned? In my head, that doesn't make sense, as you don't need license to sell on dubizzle. No nothing like that here. You don't need a license to sell personal belongings but if it was a product that you were selling then yes you would need a license. If you are selling a product then you also have to register the ingredients of the product with the relevant authorities. If you are importing something then selling it on you would then need an LLC license which has more requirements. Thanks! Well I think my dream has gone down. At least for outliving it in Dubai.

and when I answered her and told her what she needs for a license, she absconds.. You didn't tell me what I need for a license. You only told me that it costs money. And I know. think you need to be local lady to work from home.... And why is that? I believe it's the law Sure. But why is it that only locals can work from home? And "the law" is no answer on that, there has to be some kind of explanation? i would presume it is to do with culture What does selling stuff from home having to do with culture? Really? Think again

God.. I always thought of this as a serious forum.. But hey. Dubai sucks anyways. we are being serious. What you are doing is illegal...... you need a license; if you don't have a license you can get a huge fine, face jail and be deported. I'm not doing anything yet - that's why I started the thread with "i'm DREAMING". Sure I need a licence. I asked where to get it. But at the end, that's not what I asked. edited by cie91 on 21/06/2012 yeah - you asked how you can ship your produce - we just told you that you need a license or you would be breaking the law...... And why do you care if I did so? Not that I would... But still, that wasn't the question.

You will need a license if you are selling/delivering within the UAE. And where do I get such thing? For starters, it wont be much, just a little homemade.

the pool in uptown is for residents only. Yes there is one in Mushrif park, I believe its separate women and men? I have not been to the pol, but go to Mushrif a fair bit. Easiest is to drive, its a huge park, you pay per car as opposed to per person. Lots of shade with mature trees etc. I don't drive - so can't do so.
