They are sold online, but at the same time as they are on sale physically. I believe they are sold through 800 tickets this year. www.800tickets.com/ ...but you can only buy a limited number as usual. They will go on sale later.

I'm afraid you have, to some extent, fallen into the trap of The Telegraph if you have looked for this article. Articles of this nature are known as click bait and the strategy is to commission a strongly worded, divisive article so that as many people as possible look at it and comment upon it. The comments section keeps the articles alive far after its natural sell by date. Internet advertising is sold on the number of impressions a page has, unlike say buying a page in a newspaper. So the more people that click on it, the faster the number of page impressions the advertiser has paid for are used up. It's commercial. That's why you don't see utter **** like this in the actual Telegraph newspaper, only on the online version. It's tempting to reply to the article and forward it to mates, which invariably happens, and that inevitably will encourage them to commission this man again, or an article like this again, because the formula works. I'm also glad that he is not coming here. See through articles like this. I'm certain he wrote it, invoiced the site and has never thought about it again. I'm also certain he has not read any of the replies at all, although they have probably allowed the site to make more money by generating more impressions.....

I used to have a much much older Pajero (sounds like you have the low spec which is why the manual is listing bells and whistles your version doesn't have). I got round it like this - Virgin or any Consumer Electronics store will sell a device you plug into the electricity socket (not the Aux port) and it tunes itself into a radio frequency that you nominate. You plug your iPod / iPhone into this device and it plays through the airwaves. You just have to ensure that you have tuned both your radio and the device to a matching frequency.

Hi Ladies, Just back from the UK, and there is a massive craze for Loom Bands. Has anyone heard of this? I mean serious, serious craze. Do they sell them here? Are anyone's little Darlings spending their time weaving these? (Better than being on the iPad LOL). Cath

I think that it has been blocked on 3G and 4G - ie your phones, but not from a PC...that's what I heard.

I'm not sure if you mean for yor or a member of your family. My sons went to the Welcare and saw a man named Malpani - he was very good.

When it comes out on DVD, Ripper Street (BBC) - very good. Also, this isn't a drama, but a comedy: Pramface. BBC also but i think available on DVD. And Game of Thrones starts soon!

Hi Mandy. The watches you have linked to are very nice. Tudor is technically not a 'rolex' - Rolex founder Hans Wildorf founded the Tudor brand and Rolex dealers sell Tudor watches also - they are very good watches, but don't have Rolex written on them anywhere. If you're going to go 'vintage' (like the link you posted to Jaeger Le-Coultre) then vintage Rolex hold their value very well indeed, but Jaeger Le-Coultre are really handsome watches as well. A lot of this comes down to budget, and Jaeger Le-Coultre, Rolex etc are extremely expensive, but should last a lifetime. Good Luck with it. He'll love whatever you buy him.

I forgot to add, there is also a 'vintage' watch shop in DIFC called, I think, Momentum. If you're buying a luxury watch, you do need to check the paperwork etc. Rolexes particularly, hold their value. edited by Desertcath on 18/03/2013

Hi Mandy, It really does depend upon your budget. If you are a teenager and living at home with your Dad, then I don't expect you will have AED 20,000+ knocking about to buy a watch. It would also, I suspect, put your Dad in his 40s/50s which will influence the sort of watch he may want. If you are lucky enough to be living here independently, may be married, and have your parents close tohand, you may have a different sort of budget and your father will be older, so again, a huge Hublot (v.v expensve) on the wrist of an older man may not be the look he is going for. But ultimately, he's your Dad, you're clearly thinking a lot about this...so he'll love it whatever you choose. If you have a big, big budget, then Dubai Mall has all the very high end watch shops lumped together (more or less) except Breitling. Breitling do use their own movement - the new Navitimer for example. If your Dad is a sporty man, then do check the water resistance - and ask, don't just read the papers it comes with. Many high end watches are not really suitable for swimming, and when they say water-proof to 3 bar, it really means that you can get away with accidentally having a shower or falling into some water, but don't make a habit of it - even if you've just dropped AED 50k on the watch. edited by Desertcath on 18/03/2013

Thanks fjcruiser. I'm buying it from a well known garage here (in the show-room). They have serviced it also.

I agree, it's disgusting. I believe that it is because they cannot advertise in magazines or on TV anymore and need to find a way to 'market' their products in a world where the options are running out.

The danger is also, I believe, that they make you call them back in order to access your SIM data and steal your phone identity. I had this call also, and he was desperate for me to call him back "in order to verify it's you". He got very narky when I refused.

Don't forget Sam80, you may well be liable for tax on the revenue and will have to fill in a tax return form next year.

I bought a 600d about a year ago, and now the 650 is out the 600 has been reduced. It's still not cheap, but comes with a 35 - 55mm lens (pretty much covers it all except long range stuff) and it takes a nice pic. It should be below AED 3,000 now.

Definitely not girls! This is the mag, not the website. It has Will Smith on the front cover I think. It's got this heartbreaking essay by a man about divorce and his kids, and also quite funny stuff about meeting the right woman, and also a scientific analysis of night time bickering, when we're both tired and argue for the sake of it.
