OP note, yes there is a trick: DO NOT download Skype 5.0 - it takes up way too much memory for what it does. I was clever enough to stay on my older version. Works fine as it is, why would I want to mess with it and I've since found out that it has a lot of bugs too. See solution: http://www.lovefortech.com/2011/05/27/skype-2-8/

i think my husband wishes i was OCD about housework but my only leaning is colour co-ordinating wardrobes.. and liking to match the hangers with the garments lol we also have the endless toilet roll argument - i put the end at the back and my husband constantly changes it to the front just to annoy me lol - well actually, he says that's the [i'>correct[/i'> way !! My kinda husband ;) How could you put the end at the back? :\:

Get a government health card asap and then a phone call to the ministry of labour to lodge a complaint against them, dont know how far you will get though. Think it may help if you have worked at least 3 years for them. Please do this!! How could they? Restructuring my *** and only affects 1 person? ((Big hugs)) But fight it! Good luck!!

:) (BIG SMILE) YES!!!! The most precious moment; I held on to her for a big hug and realised I only had 2 minutes :D, the police blare their sirens to hurry your a** up and pick up your visitor and get the **** out of there...... LOL. Anyway, it didn't spoil our moments at home together. I've already managed to take her back to the airport. She's off to her next destination now :( But hey, them few hours were worth it :)

You may want to check that they will let her leave without her luggage. Not sure security will let someone who is leaving their luggage in the airport just leave. Friend coming from the US had to collect her bags, check through security leave the airport and then check back in for the next flight. Oh! Really?? Even if its in transit?? Hmmm. Yes she has sorry, wrote it so quickly, I think nerves and joy! :) I'm all teary eyed. Can't wait! I know for some 9 months is not a long time but for me it REALLY does seem like a lifetime. I've had a good experience with them too but they've now cancelled my appointments because of staff holidays. I want to continue with my sessions but they don't have anyone available to do it. So, I'm still looking for an alternative if anyone can give me a recommendation? I know due to staff holidays they had to move my appt from 4 to 6 weeks away from my last session, but that can only be a good thing. Remember hair grows at different stages in different cycles, so let it grow before your next session; be patient :). I managed to get an appt for 1st week Aug. I don't think I'll TRY out any other salon. I'm quite happy with the lady who conducts the IPL, and after having sessions with her already, I can see she knows what she's doing. I don't know how good another salon would be. Plus if another salon uses a different machine, they may have different settings/strengths. I'd rather stick to one place especially hearing these scary stories of burns. <em>edited by Diamante on 24/06/2011</em>

Ok I can change that..... but what about breakfast.....what should I have? I normally have a cup off coffee and shoot out the house. and (sometimes :( guilty look) a blueberry muffin from Starbucks to fill me up. I know I need to have breakfast, but I'm normally rushing, so I'm sipping my coffee in between straightening my hair. Then rushing out.

I also should add that laying off the refined carbs....white bread, white sugar, white flour, past, rice...give those up or cut back for 2 weeks and watch that tummy shriiink!! It must be the white bread (for toast) and the pasta, so if I switch to brown, will it really make much difference?

:) So, I walk into La Senza and ask for a 34B sized bra, they didn't have any of the specific one I wanted, so the assistant offered a 34C in the same range and said "its the same thing, just SLIGHTLY different cup size; it doesn't make much difference really!". :\: Anyone else had similar shopping experiences? <em>edited by Diamante on 20/06/2011</em>

OMG this is so scary. Thats why I have not gathered the guts to do IPL on my upper lip. Me too, that's why I only did my underarms and nowhere too visible. But luckily I have no scars from my IPL. I don't mind continuing to thread my upperlip for the rest of my life, I've done it for quarter of my life already and no scarring or permanent damage. :)

Oh dear, it does sound to me like you've been burnt as it shouldn't burn and as Babylons has mentioned, 'there shuld be no (or minimal redness) after treatment'. When I have treatment I have the same sensation as mentioned by Babylon. 'Quick sharp pin like pain', like rubber band snaps. If you've had sessions with them before they should already know what setting to put it on for you and adjust accordingly depending on your hair growth; it's much lighter hair if not minimal, each time you have the laser/IPL. Have they not been changing the setting each time? Ridiculous excuse :\:: that this was just the hair that had burnt on your face, there's no hair there to begin with as the hair is shaved just before the lasering. Why not stick it out for another year. You will have a clean work record and you will know if your relationship is strong enough to handle a stressful situation. I think absconding, risking a ban, maybe even a police record, losing lots of money, all for a man is a bit stupid. If he's really worth it he will wait. And if he has your best interest in mind he will advise you to complete your contract, as you should. If he can't wait, he wasn't worth it to start with... Totally Agree with Ansie. and as Chocs01 said the fact that it's another Gulf country....well, it's an even bigger risk of getting caught. Just DON'T DO IT!!

Yet another Subway in JLT.... ground floor. This time in Almas Tower. Its open till 11pm daily. Oh and btw....... after 5 pm, they have a PROMOTION on at this branch: Buy one 6 inch sandwich, get another free.
