Use to live at Al Morooj (moved 3 years ago). The rooftop pools belong to the penthouses for their private use. The big swimming pool in the middle of the complex is for residents (and they are absolutely beautiful and very well kept). The pool just in front of the hotel is for hotel residents only. I absolutely loved living at Al Morooj, convenient for going anywhere, 24 hour supermarket downstairs. Wish I was still living there.

I am only stating what happened whilst I was in marks and spencers today! I love marks and spencers for underwear, I never never buy anywhere else, but I wasn't the only one who was not happy about what happened. I just wanted people to be aware!!!

So the 'Can not return underwear policy' is absolutely meaningless and basically if you make enough fuss you can do whatever. Surely it is not cost effective to throw things in the bin to make one customer happy and quite a few people who saw this incident were disgusted and said they would not be buying underwear again in marks and spencers. Not a good sales pitch. I would not be 100% sure that this would not go for re-sale, I would not be willing to take that risk. Maybe this is their policy but obviously these 'policies' are very flexible.

Please be aware of buying second hand underwear from Marks and Spencers (Landmark Branch). A lady today returned underwear (the saleslady said it looked as if it had been washed). After the lady had made a big fuss after being told by countless sales staff that it was against the store policy to return underwear, the manager was called and eventually the underwear was returned. I will not be buying any more undies from Marks and Spencers!!!!!

Stayed at the Amari Coral Beach (Patong) over Christmas and absolutely loved it. Its no more than 5 minutes walk into Patong, also tuc-tucs are dead cheap and plentiful from the hotel and back again. Would recommend!!
