The mobilisation process can take about 6 months, that is from the time you are told OK we want you now to the time you get there, You may not be asked to mobilise straight away depending on your position requirement. Ask at the interview. If your position is required in the clinic you may be required sooner than if the position is for the hospital which is not yet open. Paywise you will have to give details and proof of what you are earning back home and it will be matched or a little bit better. But you have to take into consideration that it is tax free and accommodation is provided which is a major cost you will not have to worry about. Not sure where nyny345 gets her information from but I would totally ignore it, She is applying a director of operations to nursing staff which is completely wrong, even though you are a NP, do not expect business class travel. Thank you Darang for your response. Are you currently in Qatar? Yes I have heard of the hospital delay, and I think I will hire for their out patient clinic.

Ellie - see the other thread on the pay for the director of operations - they are paying them @$1000 dollars a day - so$5000 per week - you can do the rest of the math. Obviously you are a nurse practitioner with a masters degree so you should be up around that mark. Also note they advertise that they give doctors business class when flying them over - as an NP you should get this as well for your yearly flights. Good luck!! Thank you nyny345 for the response .We all have to be smart in making these kind of move. One thing that is true is that I am well compensated with the type of work I do here in the US.So it's got to be good or else, I may have to rethink.
