Hi - when I enquired of the Hatta Fort Hotel for activities during my stay in December, I was informed that they are not taking Hatta Pools excursion bookings, as there is no info available on when the construction works are going to be complete and the road will reopen. Sorry to be no help, but I too would love to know if anyone has any more info.
Hi, Our little one has been at British Orchard Nursery in Umm Suqeim since she was 14 months (now 2 1/2). Levels of care are superb, transitioning into great structured pre-school education. The British curriculum is followed if that's of any use (was for us), and whether you need just part time or full time (as we do), they are very accommodating to individual's needs. The Principal and receptionist are very approachable too. You may find there's a waiting list, but one worth waiting for. Our daughter can't wait til Sunday mornings to go back and see her friends and teachers!
We sampled 3 other nurseries in the area, but I'm afraid to say didn't seem quite right, they were either too hung up on showing off their facilities than talking about their educational and social values, or just plain weird (wish I could remember the name so you could avoid). Kensington, even though it looked very nice, seemed too busy to answer questions - they forget we're all new to this! Good luck.
