K9 can't do much but if you call and report to the municipality they WILL send an inspector round to chat to the owners - we recently did this with people in our community keeping 3 dogs in a tiny shelter on their balcony! Inspector came and dealt with it.

You can get some of those sprays at the vets to help calm them down in new surroundings. Confining him to one area could help, as dogs aren't likely to mess in the area they consider their own - you can do this especially when you go out and leave him alone - such as the kitchen or a spare room. I think you need to treat him like a puppy and start toilet training from scratch. It is a bit weird that he's just started doing it though.

Everything has changed for your dog. Everything is different, smells different etc so he's probably a bit stressed. He's not used to having to go 'on command' as it were on walks, as before he was allowed to just go in the garden - this is a massive change in routine for your dog and he's probably completely confused and this is how he's showing his confusion and frustration. Is there no way you can combine the two, let him out in the garden AND take him on walks? Until he gets used to it and gradually just make it so he only goes on walks. Basically you're expecting him to go cold turkey and animals don't understand this. You have to do it step by step. Reading your post, your dog really wasn't trained at all as you pandered to when HE needed to go instead of making him wait and go when YOU wanted him to go. If it's the complex security key type which has all the little dots etc in it, it can be quite hard to find somewhere to cut these and the copies don't always work.

Maybe the cat has kittens near-by and is being over protective. Dogs are seen as a natural threat to a cat, whereas they will naturally avoid people. Maybe it's also been attacked by a dog in the past so it's natural reaction is 'get the dog, before it gets me'. It's a bit harsh to say report the cat and get rid of it, when you don't know the reasons behind its reaction.

Well why would they comment until a full investigation has been completed. The aircraft flown back for 'maintenance' could suggest something else happened. A 'blade' - he could have smashed the mirror and used a sharp piece of that. You just don't know. I wouldn't believe anything that particular paper writes.

Depends on the type of insurance you have, but in my experience, not usually no. Any Gynae will do a PAP smear for you.

Keeping a dog in an apartment is the same as keeping it in a house/villa. Our dogs do not use our garden which is why we are considering an apartment. They are also walked 3 times a day! So thanks oopsiedaisy, your comment wasn't particularly helpful, just judgemental! Other ladies, thank you for your help ? I don't live on the Palm, but I live in an apartment complex and there are quite a few Labs in apartments! They do just fine. Don't take the agents word for it - ask the landlords and check the community rules.

erm Kenny & Accalia have known and worked with each other for 8 years - that's why they 'gel' the others have been in a studio together for a total of three weeks - things take time as people get to know one another. Radio 2 is certainly not a new station - it's actually one of the oldest.

if we had no kids I'd have left him a long time ago. I just don't want them hurt and damaged cos of DH stupidity. But don't you think staying for the sake of the children is still damaging them? Children are not stupid and will pick up that something is not right between you. Cutting ties amicably is far better than staying in a loveless, resentful relationship. I'm sure your children would much rather have parents who are happy, than ones who hate each other.

This is happening in Ghoroob in Mirdiff. Unfortunately all the tenants rent directly from DPG. However, I would seriously doubt the municipality would have the manpower, money or time to confiscate around 100 dogs and cats! Not to mention this is completely irresponsible of them - 7 days? I suspect, as do many others DPG are doing this to force tenants out to put the rents up.

So if OP's hair is bra length, you're talking 1,800 - 2,000 Dhs then a a hazard guess. You can't do this treatment without the hair being flat ironed - that's kind of the point. The new Kerastraight system now means you only have to have it straightened once, instead of twice. But it still take 3 hours + to do, depending on your hair. This is why it's so expensive. Mine usually lasts about 4 months and I swear by it. I have mental, wavy, frizzy hair and it drives me insane.

Poor child. I'd go back to your doctor and insist they do a full blood work up, the guys at Mediclinics are quite good or maybe try the GMC. Dark circles can be caused by lots of things - lack of sleep, allergies, congestion of the nasal passages, sinus issues - I get them when I have bad sinus problems. If she's constantly ill, she must be feeling miserable. Don't let them fob you off and insist she gets checked over properly.

Things moving fast now that more Brits & Europeans arriving makes things all the more competitive .. it's a city too where a face fits so not much point sending out a zillion CVs :( .. In the meantime I will tell him to get a job in the pub - that might work lol Free drink ha If I do hear of anything I will keep you posted They do have an exhibition in Abu Dhabi called IDEX but I believe it is not on till 2015 Good place to smooze and network IDEX is brilliant! That's how DH got his latest contract - turned up suited and booted and gave out cv's done as leaflets left right and centre and spoke to everyone - it worked. Sometime you just have to put yourself out there. All his workmates were kicking themselves for not doing that.

We own a security company and I'll tell you that to do close protection or even maritime security, you'll need to have graduated from one of the highly specialized trainings and be a former marine commando or SAS. LOL Hubster is laughing his butt off all the way across the GCC! Plenty of people do CP work having just been in the army. The Brits like the SIA license and the Americans the PPS. Being a commando or SAS is certainly NOT a requirement. Most country's military provided CP training for their army members. Same for maritime security. Although many of the guys in these sectors are SF (Special Forces) but it's certainly not exclusive. Maritime security well paid? er sadly not! Know I few guys who have just thrown in the towel as it's too much hassle for too little pay back. Sadly loads of ex-military guys trying to find work in the region. On the plus side, with the UAE announcing complusory military service, one would assume they will be recruiting trainers. Hubster was one of the Abu Dhabi redundancies, but he managed to find work in Jordan, but now the same thing is happening again. The air side guys are a whole other network here, don't really see them about so they might be harder to get in touch with.

I don't have experience with that, but I do with the dentist supplied home whitening kits and yes, it DOES hurt! Lots and lots of sensitive toothpaste required. How long a whitening treatment lasts, depends on how many things you consume that can potentially stain the teeth - fruit teas, coffee, red wine are the worse culprits.

Agent called and said the landlord wants to take a loan against the house, so he needs to bring the bank by to tour the propery. Is this legit? I am worried he wants to put th house back on the market. This is our first year here and we signed a contract in August, but it was contingent we renewed for 305 next year. Does that mean the LL has to renew our lease? I thought it did. I hope I'm just being paranoid, because I am very happy here. Well the property might be mortgaged and he wants to refinance it with a better rate at another lender - so the bank will want an evaluation done for this.

Not the easiest to find and be careful as Tecom was raided by the government a few weeks back to discourage sharing. I don't know if this applied to Bachelors only and a lot of government related services can only be accessed by showing a tenancy contract and if you are sharing I do not know if this is doable. Good Luck :-) Technically sharing is illegal. Hence why they now ask to see a tenancy contract for so many things.
