If the owners are out, they might not be aware that their dog is barking constantly and would probably appreciate being told. many dogs that have separation anxiety bark this way - they can't stand to be left alone. Worth going and having a chat with your neighbours.

What a horrible situation to be in. In answer to your question - YES, you could absolutely be in trouble for slander and libel, posting peoples pictures and information which could potentially damage a persons reputation - valid or not, is illegal in the UAE. What you needed to have done, was to pass all this information on to the police, open a case against her and let them deal with it. Unfortunately the way you've gone about it, you now leave yourself open to investigation. If there are so many people who've 'allegedly' been cheated by her, then you should all get together and file a complaint.

I just rent. I have a 2 bed, 2nd floor which has the big terrace off the main bedroom - stupid design! The snag lists have been lengthy to say the least, ac's not working, leaks, cracks, poor grouting etc etc all seems to be ok now.

Apparently it's not just threading or plucking, but tinting etc as well. As with anything like this - you are basically paying for the HD name - as that's what all their products are called.

I dont know how those ovulation test work, but once you ovulate is late, you need to have intercourse 2-3 days before ideally. Have you tried taking the temperature and looking at your mucus? fertilityfriend.com is a great tool my periods are also all over, but I can predict ovulation and have gotten pregnant easy bith times I tried. edited by imolinar on 16/02/2014 TMI at lunchtime!

Hi FaiyDust, I’m at work so can’t write a full reply. I will make an appointment to see my gynae this week. I will mention to her my concerns about PCOS and Endometriosis and see what she says. Is it easy to be picked up? I mean, I had an internal ultrasound done not too long ago. Can PCOS or Endo be diagnosed with an ultrasound? Or do you have to get blood tests? I am so scared, I really hope I don’t have PCOS or Endo or anything else :( edited by Dauphin on 16/02/2014 I think if someone doesn't have symptoms and ultrasounds are clear, then hormone tests are the way to go - that's what I gathered anyway.

i know off one that happens on Monday night at safa park - its ladies only but its in the park so its open. Thanks - sounds great. Open park is fine; just I'm not very fit so feeling more comfortable with ladies only! I feel worse off in ladies only groups - women are far more judgmental than the guys. The men just get on with it and IMHO ar more helpful and supportive than other women when it comes to working out.

Dauphin, I had NONE and I mean NONE of the symptoms of PCOS - I don't even have cysts which show up on an ultrasound and yet still diagnosed with it. You're luck in that you're only 30 - I'm pushing 40 which is a whole different ball game.

Did they do a blood test to check your hormone levels? and the test to make sure your tubes are open? I recently had both these done. The blood test showed my LH levels were basically in reverse and it was dubious as to whether I was ovulating at all, with cycles all over the place. Also pre-diabetic because of imbalances. Basically diagnosed with PCOS. I have been prescribed glucophage to try and bring everything back into line - god awful medication I have to say, I've never felt so sick in my life! It might be worth asking them to do a hormone test on the 2nd day of your cycle, if they haven't already done this.

Technically Hypermarkets are meant to be bigger and a cross between a supermarket and department store. i.e. the ones where you can also buy clothes, electronics, kitchen appliances etc

As i have mentioned he flew in from outside the country and with the jet-lag he just would not have coped. What kind of excuse is THAT? Your husband needs to MAN UP! Any man I know, jetlagged, exhausted, overworked or not would still rather spend time with their children, they haven't seen for a while than 'sit around and relax'. He's a father - deal with it!

erm I had a blood test for food intolerances - if I went by that I would literally STARVE to death! These things are not accurate by any stretch of the imagination. TBH it sounds just like the blood type diet. Nothing special or new. All in moderation and really cut back on the bad stuff. SIX bananas a DAY? Yikes - bananas are high in potassium, too many dehydrate you. The body can't actually metabolise that much. <em>edited by FairyDust on 12/02/2014</em>

what's my fitness pal? It's an application that calorie counts for you. You put in all your stats and what you eat. Most food products are in the database or if you have the app, you can scan barcodes. It's very useful.

Me too All these faddy diets work in the short term but you end up putting it back on Good old fashioned exercise and eat in moderation me three...... maybe we are cynical? Well put it this way. I'm super rubbish with my eating, so I've signed up to Kcal for a month - eating 5 times a day with healthy, balanced food, reduced calorie intake - down to 1,000 - 1,3000 calories a day. I walk every day and gym around 4 times a week. Down 2kgs in 2 weeks. Says it all.

Remraam - used to love it! Now HATE it! I have never been surrounded by such hateful, awful people in my life. Neighbours who have NO respect for one another, persecute some members of the community and snitch on one another for the most pathetic reasons imaginable. It's like living in the Big Brother house, surrounded by pathetic children. Getting out asap.

Many airlines ahve restrictions on snubnosed breeds, due to the beathing difficulties they can have at altitude. And with an animal in the hold - there's nothing you can do to get to them if there is a problem.

There's no seperate chiller in Remraam, it's all in the DEWA bill. Just be aware that as both these developments are DPG - both are having major issues with pets at the moment. SO if you ahve animals, might need a rethink on it. <em>edited by FairyDust on 07/02/2014</em>

I'm sure i heard the news today and they had said he returned to rehab a week before his death. Ofcourse its sad because of the kids but he knew he had kids. My sympathy over celeb overdoses does not exsits. They obviousily have too much money for their own good, they run out of things to do so they turn to drugs. Pretty sure he could have donated the money he used to buy the drugs to a someone who really needed it. He'd actually battled with this since he left college decades ago! And he was certainly NOT someone who led the 'celeb' lifestyle. You cant be certan of that. Everyone paints a pretty picture that they want the world to see. Being a celeb, he did a good job of it but the reality is the "celeb lifestyle" caught up with him You missed the point - clearly! He was a drug addict and an alcoholic BEFORE he became famous! His celebrity had zero to do with it. And I'll agree with TDB - so many short sighted people on here. Addiction is a disease, an illness and is suffered by rich and poor alike. It has nothing to do with how much money you have. The ONLY difference is that in the 'industry' it's probably mroe readily available.

But there is a percentage limit to how much allowances are allowed to take up in a salary. Because companies have been ripping employees off by giving them a pathetic basic of say 600 dhs and then the rest is all allowances, so the employee gets virtually nothing on leaving.

Perhaps someone can clarify....... my DH's company does pay housing allowance for people hired on an expat contract, who leave their home country to come and work here. For these contracts the housing allowance is apparently mandatory under Labour Law. This is different for people hired on a local contract, who do not receive a housing allowance. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. I think perhaps this is what causes the confusion. Some companies are cheeky and they'll hire expats already in the UAE, thinking they can just hire them on a local contract - I've known several people this has happened to. Expats, whether already in the UAE or not, should be hired on expat cotnracts, because at the end of the day, the company still has to offer you flights back to your home country when you leave. I get housing allowance as part of my salary package. My DH when he was here, got a large monthly salary, then a completely seperate housing allowance, that would be paid directly to the landlord. I dont think so, I know of plenty of people that have all their housing paid and the landlors love it as they can charge what they like, especially in Jumeirah and Umm Suqeim And therein lies the issue!

Dr Amer (psychiatrist) at the Dubai Community Health Center in Health Care City-04 395 3939. He's good - but VERY quick to medicate. That was my only issue with him. See the therapists there first, then see if you need to see a psychiatrist.

The best place to obtain a dog from is a reputable breeder. Dogs have to born in the house, trained, and be socialized. Not to mention the health. You are getting a dog for 12-15 years. There are no reputable breeders in the UAE!

He's obviously going out of his way to hide things and well once the trust is gone, it's very difficult to get it back. He seems to be blaming you for lots of things.
