Emovers can do that for you. As others have said, can you not ask your current LL if you can stay an extra few days? Obviously you'll pay him for this. Are they expensive? And will they take the furniture apart put it back together.? No the LL wont let us unfortunately would save alot of hassle They're very competitive and they was take apart and put all furniture back together. Have used them several times and always had a very good experience with them.

Hi Jo. I think it's very brave of you to have gone through and continue going through what you are and also finding the courage to ask for help - which is a massive step in the right direction to start with. There's nothing wrong with using medications IF they help - been there myself. After reading all your posts though one one thing hit me that one of your doctors said - you're under so much stress and pressure that your body is probably wound up so tightly that you probably have muscle spasms and tension that are also contributing to your migranes - this is something I have suffered with a lot over the years. So maybe, as difficult as it may seem, try to find some way to relax, even meditate if you can to release some of the anxiety and stress from your body and mind. It's extremely difficult when you don't have people that understand nor are willing to talk as both these things are crucial. You could try contacting the Dubai Community Health Centre.

You're not spying on someone if you make them aware the cameras are there. I really don't see an issue if it brings peace of mind to be honest. It must be very difficult for new mothers to leave their new babies so soon and why shouldn't mums be over protective?

They do rpefer bookings via their site. But if I need a car and am within the 2 hours, I just call them and thery sort it. Easily done.

Careem are excellent. You don't always have to book in advance, they have a NOW option on their site if you need a car straight away.

Has anyone checked to see if the cooling gas has run out? That's more than likely the issue. Whoever maintans the AC unit will need to get onto the roof and check the gas and top them up if need be.

Sushi/Sashimi is pricey because it is served raw, has to go through parasite degradation before it is suitable for consumption. Basically, those fish which are high risk for carrying parasites and come from brackish waters, like Salmon, have to be deep frozen at certain temperatures for a period of time to guarantee that any parasites are killed. Sashimi/Sushi grade fish is also traditionally caught by line, not net or farmed therefore increasing the price. <em>edited by FairyDust on 04/01/2014</em>

I basically had a clause put in, that if for any circumstances I would be forced to terminate the contract early i.e. loss of job, relocation etc that I would either, pay a penalty fee of 2 months rent OR find someone else to take over my lease at the new rental rate.

Any item that comes into the UAE with a value over 300 dollars will be charged duty tax, so yes, you will get taxed on it.

Find a wedding band design you like online and have it made - that's what my husband did. We got ours made at Cara's in the Gold & Diamond park. Most of the shops there will pretty much make whatever you want in whatever precious metal you want.

I;ve done one of those deals - bought by a friend - the sushi was very low grade - to the point you were in danger of food poisoning. Not something I'd risk again to be honest.

Just traffic mayhem? Safety and security? Really? Have you read what people actually went through on the Palm that night? It sounded like a zombie riot movie! People blocking the paths of buses and forcing themselves on, making them totally over crowded, fights, pushing shoving, many were injured. People urinating and vomiting everywhere. Reading some accounts, I'm glad I was nowhere near any of that.

It certainly hasn't been good for the Sandance brand. I wonder if they will avoid NYE events in future? Personally I think it's time Sandance looked for another venue. The Palm is just too much of a nightmare each time.

I feel so sorry for the Sandance organisers whoa re copping all the flack this morning! Shame people seem to assume they were the ones behind the fireworks and traffic chaos, whereas in reality all that was cared about was the fireworks, everyone else could stuff it as far as organisers were concerned. No dedicated bus lanes as promised. No restrictions onto the Palm as promised - the entire thing was a disaster. So glad we took the decision to stay away from anything organised last night - hearing horror stories from all over! edited by FairyDust on 01/01/2014

As I said, sometimes it's just nice not to cook. Especially when it's for 16 people. and nice not to have to clear up the kitchen afterwards. you must not be afraid of cooking a turkey and trimmings. It is a a easy as can be. Not if you don't have a big oven it's not! 150 Dhs? Can't buy a decent bird for Yes you can. Mine was over 8kg and cost 136 dhs from Spinneys! There was heaps to feed 11 of us and we divided the leftover turkey between two families. We are still ploughing through our half! But by the time you add everything else into it. It's more than that isn't it. As I said, most people are limited by the size of the oven. I can't get much more than a medium sized turkey in mine, then there's definitely no room for anything else. In the past we've had to split the cooking between friends to utilise our kitchen appliances. I miss my big range oven. For many people it's about saving the hassle. I've cooked plenty of Christmas dinners and I enjoy doing so, but every now and then it's nice to not slave away for hours in the kitchen.

Seen some good research articles recently, basically saying, ditch the daytime moisturisers and use a good quality, high SPF facial sunscreen instead. Most sunscreens contain moisturiser anyway. I don't use anything less than 100 SPF.

The course is run by PPC - they have a pretty good reputation from what I hear. I don't the average cost of photography courses, so can't really comment on that.

So if I get the new micro sim I assume that I can keep the original sim to use on my old phone if I need to? Tks. No you can't. Ther original sim is deactivated and the micro sim activated in its place. You have to get a sim convertor, so that the microsim can be used in ordinary phones. First post and a recommendation for a place with all the details? Advertiser clearly. Do take a look at Dr Jaffa Khan - I had botox and fillers with him - very good. He uses Dysport as opposed to traditional Botox, as it's meant to last longer. Also had botox with Dr Viel in healthcare city. Cost of upper face area - forehead/eyes etc is usually around the 1,500 - 1,800 mark and fillers probably about the same. Don't use fillers in the eye area, it's not for that. Filler are for laughter lines around the mouth area etc Every person is different, so every persons reaction could be different and some people are better injectors than others. Most common issues with botox in the eye area, is the droopy eye, where botox seeps into the eyelid tissue (due to bad injecting, or weak cell tissues). The 'frozen' face looks ridiculous and it's better if you still have some movement. Personally I found botox in the forehead area like having someone sitting on my forehead afterwards. It felt very heavy - hence why I've never done it again. Also it tended to give me watery eyes. It's supposed to last 3-4 months, my body dumped it after about 2. Apparently with regular use you can reduce it, to having the shots done 2 to 3 times a year only.

I find that there are quite a few people that upon finding out you are a vegetarian start banging on about meat.. Not really. It's that many find it odd that those who give up meat, then go and find substitutues that taste like meat. That's the odd part. I was a vegetarian for years and during that time, not once did I look for meat substitutes or products that looked, smelled and tasted like meat - just seemed daft. I know many vegetarians that don't eat meat because of ethical reasons. They enjoy the taste of meat but choose not to eat it as they don't wish to eat animals. Meat substitutes give some of the taste of meat (if they do even taste of meat, I have no idea) without compromising the reasons they are vegetarian. I get that. But it doesn't make a lot of sense to me I'm afraid.

LG and JVC do the combos. If they have stand alone stores, that would be your best bet. I've never seen them in any electrical stores. There are some on souq - maybe see if they are stores that are also doing the online selling. Good luck in your search.

sima, it might depend which Keratin products are used - some of them contain formaldahyde - whch is obviously no good for anyone's health nor hair in the long term. There are now milder, formaldahyde free keratine treatments. Most other straightening treatments will be rebonding products, that permanently straighten the hair - ok in the short term, but many of these products can be very harsh.

Just curious... if one calls oneself a vegetarian, why seek out fake meat and veg bacon.... Making vegetables smell and taste like meat? There's nothing good in that. Take a look at the ingedients lists of some of these products - horrific.

In all honesty Yorky, they're terrible things. If one part breaks down, then entire unit is screwed. Always better to have the seperate components. Never seen a tv with a built in DVD player. The tv/VHS players were dreadful.

Some come with full sized products. As others have said it's very hit and miss. After 12 months I decided not to renew and there were just too many things that I wasn't interested in (who actually still uses soap these days?).

thank you all. is there anyway I can get the school to take disciplinary action against her? I don't want to change my child's school as they are quite happy but I want her out. Tough one, as the potential there would be the school involving the authorities - as the offence is potentially adultery, which would then implicate your husband and see him also charged. It really depends I think on how far you are willing for it to go. I really can't sympathise with you enough. Totally awful situation.
