That's a really poor attitude from the outlet. If they don't want people to use the vouchers like that then they shouldn't be in it! Make the Entertainer people aware so they can have 'words' with them.

I have had flu jab for last 3 years and been sick only once during that time. Before the jabs I used to get something like flu very often - usually after flying and was very ill. - I think aeroplanes carry infections - coughs, colds, flu. Of course they may have changed planes air quality. It's not the planes, it's the people you're travelling with on them. Standard after every holiday when everyone comes back from their home countries, they bring all their germs etc with them so everyone gets sick. Happens straight after the summer holidays every year and the turn in the weather every year.

I'm curious as to why you'd be given antibiotics for flu, which are useless as the flu is a virus and antibiotics only work on bacteria. Flu jabs are hit and miss, as they have to predict which strain - out of the hundreds that there are - of the flu will appear each year.

It's very hit and miss, when they do get it in you have to stock up. If you're ok with that pill, you might want to look at the Depo injection as it's very similar.

Well I completely disagree that teenagers are more mature. So many of them lack any kind of maturity, are irresponsible and show zero consideration for anyone else, so how on earth would you expect them to behave behind the wheel of a car? If anything, the driving age should be raised! Engine size for new drivers should be limited and they should only be allowed to drive 4 door vehicles. Completely nuts idea.

Most venues will have someone who can help you with that, so you need to decide on your venue first. Then you can either get them to use their suppliers or source your own. I'll give you one tip, with florists etc, don't mention 'wedding' as they automatically double or triple the price. Ignore all the big name, fancy suppliers and go for the little local ones. They're great value for money and can do a good job.

So.... I personally spoke to the main licensing department for all MMI stores after this post. Guess what? Your "alcohol license" is nothing more than permission to purchase, transport and drink alcohol...for you and members of your immediate family (who do not have a card) in your own home ONLY. It has NOTHING to do with granting you permission to drink in the hotels. They said the hotels have "special licenses" which allow them to serve in the hotels. The hotel licenses cover their drinkers under their umbrella license while they are there drinking. In other words, you don't need a card to drink in the hotels. Essentially, there is little reason for a spouse (working or not working) to have a card if they aren't A) buying or B) transporting it. They can drink it as home as long as the other spouse has a card. It would only benefit to get an additional allowance amount. FYI: If you are not working then your spouse's income is used to determine your allowance (double dipping on the salary amount as it was used for spouse's allowance already) but apparently how they figure it! I hope this helps! Errr yes and no. While it's true that if you're drinking in a hotel bar or other licensed outlet, you are drinking under their license. However, the second you step outside on the street you are not covered. From a police perspective you can be arrested on the spot for being drunk or having consumed alcohol illegally. Same if you go to someone else's house. If you don't have a license you can be arrested, if you do nothing will happen. I've had friends in this situation and trust me that having a liquor license can get you out of potentially sticky situations. Better to have, than not to.

Sadly there are no short term visas, apart from the tourist ones. Depends where your passport is from as to what that situation is. With regards to health insurance, anyone can buy private health insurance, the best bet for short term would be travel insurance, as without a residence visa, technically you're not 'resident' in the country.

I think I might have found an 'alternative' option for you. They've just launched 'CoolSculpting' in Dubai. It's non-invasive, but not without pain, after reading reviews. It is FDA approved. Basically they 'freeze' the fat. From your post you only have a small problem area. What they do is they put this attachment over the fatty area and it sucks the skin up into a vaccum and freezes the fat underneath the skin at -10 degrees. Then once it's finished they take it off and massage the area. What happens is the extreme cold kills the fat cells then the body breaks it down and disposes of it. That process usually takes around 3 months to see optimal results. It's far cheaper than Lipo. But as I said from reading the reviews, there can be some several bruising and nerve pain for a few weeks afterwards - nothing less than you'd get with Lipo though and you don't have to wear corsets etc. Might be worth looking into.

Don't have a problem with it, but you seem to want to do everything on a budget. This is invasive surgery we're talking about. Certainly not something to scrimp on AND if you go back and actually READ my post, you'll see I did say that I suspected it might be a last resort. It's all dependent on WHAT type of exercise you're doing, as some workouts will burn more fat and more calories than others. The calorie counting thing can be a gross misconception, sometimes do get our bodies to release the excess fat we actually have to eat MORE, but more of the right foods. The people I see working out everyday, literally never stop stuffing their faces and they're ripped beyond belief. Maybe you're just not doing the right things to jump start your body into shifting the final bit.

I dont want to sound rude or judgemental but if you have until March why cant you do exercise and lose the fat naturally? You get to improve your health and prolong your life....why do such an unnatural thing to yourself instead?? Im sorry but it just makes me angry how easily ppl go under tbe knife these days..what message is it sending to the children of today! True. Plus any surgeon worth their salt will tell a patient, that they have to do diet and exercise first and that lipo is the absolute last resort for getting rid of the last bit that won't go - could be the case here as 5lbs isn't a lot. Tummy fat is always the last bit to go and the hardest to get rid of and sadly that's all down to diet. It's cutting, cutting, cutting.

That deal appears to have ended. However, any surgical procedure done on the cheap using an offer has me asking questions. Having had lasik done, this is your eyesight we're talking about. You don't cut corners. Plus you need to have a consultation first to see if you can actually have the surgery. It's not for everyone and can't be performed on some people - it's all dependent on your prescription.

Be very careful bad mouthing a surgeon on here You do know that defamation is illegal and if someone at his surgery saw this and reported it you could be in big trouble I've already highlighted this and Admin have removed several of her posts, but she keeps posting it. She doesn't seem to understand that by naming and shaming publicly, the surgeon could bring a case against HER and it could invalidate her legal case. Oh well.

Can I ask what Visa was that and was it only for certain Passports? What is the alternative to the 30 day Visa for non residents with UK Passport? Can one get it on arrival at Airport? Thanks UK passport holders get a free 30 day visa on arrival. I 'believe' you can apply for a 90 day long stay visa, but it costs.

My tourist visa will have expired 7 days before I fly back to UK for a 10 day visit. Is it simple to pay fine at the airport on departure when going through immigration? How much will the fine be? I Also, will this affect my future visa applications? I have moved here to join my husband and plan to work with my own residency visa through employer asap and so obviously do not want any black mark against me. Thank you in advance for all and any very welcome advice or experience. The fines for overstay are 200 dhs for the first day and 100dhs for every consecutive day - apparently. It might be worth seeing if you can extend your visa before it runs out, as they're being a bit 'touchy' with regard to people taking the mick with visas at the moment.

Do you need a TL for something such as dog walking or feeding people's animals in their homes while they are away? Seems you need a licence for everything so I wondered about these types of services. Thanks in advance Legally speaking, ANYTHING where you provide a service and money exchanges hands, is classed as a commercial activity and requires a license. People offering things like tutoring, baby sitting etc are in breach of their tenancy contracts, as they're providing a commercial service from a residential premises. Now 'friends' walking each others dogs, not an issue. People doing it large scale for income, require a license to do so.

There aren't any. There are NO ethical breeders here, all the pet shop puppies come from puppy mills mostly in Eastern Europe and come from horrific conditions. Please don't buy a dog and contribute to this awful industry. There are literally hundreds of dogs desperate for a forever home, with the many rescue organisations that are here. Pugs do come up, but there'e usually a waitlist, so I would suggest contacting organisations like: K9 Friends Animals Action UAE Sharjah Cats and Dogs Shelter Posh Paws Dogs in Dubai Animal Welfare UAE There are loads more. Please adopt and don't shop. Also please bear in mind that with snub nosed breeds like Pugs, there can be a great many health issues, due to their shortened nasal passages. Airlines will not fly them during certain months, due to their breathing issues (if at all). SOme of the serious health issues which can lead to hefty vets bills are: Serious breathing difficulties High blood pressure Fainting or collapsing due to a lack of oxygen Facial skin fold infections Serious eye problems Excessive flatulence due to excessive gulping and swallowing of air to try to overcome their breathing difficulties Difficulty walking Highly disrupted sleep Get yourself a nice mixed breed desert dog and avoid all the above.

No one has that right, not even the owner or the police. The tenant dictates when people come. Also remind her that if he wants the place empty to sell, he has to send her a 12 months vacation notice. Normally they have to request 48 hours beforehand to send anyone round.

Rules for Canadian passport holders are different. As I said, they changed the rules for Schengen passport holders and so for German passport holders if you're on a visit visa, you can now only be in the country for 90 days in any 180 day period - you get a 90 day visit visa. They might well not allow you to do a visa run and say you have to leave the country for 90 days. Best to check with immigration on that front because I don't know what the new rules are for German passport holders and changing visas. As I said immigration are being very twitchy at the moment. Ask immigration. When we got my husbands sponsorship done - He's a German PP holder - it was well inside the grace period and even they then were pretty determined to send him out the country, to then come back in on his work permit. We paid to avoid this.

Well what passport do you hold? As the rules are now different for holders of Schengen passport holders as opposed to British passport holders. Also DON'T leave it until the grace period, as some immigration officials will still charge you overstay in that period. It's hit and miss with the rules at the moment and really depends who you get on the day. Oh and as far as I'm aware, you can't do visa runs from Mussandam. It has to be via the Hatta border.

Sorry Gorobattie, completely disagree! It's not 'gross, greasy men' practically every bloke I know does this, in a relationship or not and if they say they don't or aren't, then they're pretty much lying about it. It's hardwired into mens brains to look at this stuff. Google 'Why men look at porn' - very obvious and simple reasons as to why they do it and mostly pretty innocent ones at that. Does it mean they are doing anything about it? Not necessarily. That's actually MORE likely to happen if they're not allowed an outlet for their 'fantasies'. That statment of " every bloke I know does it" tells a lot about women who raise men that don't respect women. It doesn't mean that every bloke you know does it that it's a right thing... I know men from my circle of family and friends that don't do it, maybe in their teenage, but not adult men, and that deferentia men from horny teenagers!!!! That you know of. Do you keep tabs on what every single man in your family does, 100% of the time? Seriously?! Also it has NOTHING to do with respecting or disrespecting women or how someone was brought up either. You're very naive in that assumption, because it's not true at all. Shock, horror, many couples watch things together, do things together, just because some people do things differently to you, doesn't make it wrong. Each to their own. *goes back to looking at facebook profiles of big, muscular, bare-chested men*. (works BOTH ways).

It would be very rare for Landlord and tenant to actually ever meet, or to attend signings - just doesn't happen. It's usually all done through an agent, unless you're dealing with the LL directly. The tenant being responsible for costs under 500 dhs is normal, virtually everyone has that. It does NOT mean you pay the first 500dhs for anything, but pay for anything that costs under 500dhs, anything over and the LL pays for it. Asking your LL to be responsible for paying for AC and servicing - apart from anything major - is not his responsibility, that falls to the tenant. Why should he? You're the one using it, not him. Don't get too 'demanding' or they'll put you in the 'difficult tenant' category and move on to someone else.
