I live in JLT its a great locality close to metro and beach etc restaurants near us and McGettigans!! which is too close for comfort ha ha, ooh sounds good I love the creek its a great place to take any family or friends etc love going on the little boats across to the spice and gold souk , yes its always nice to have a pool nearby too!! all I do is swim trying to lose bit of weight done nothing but eat since we came its hard to resist when there are so many nice restaurants near, Yes I said the hubs part time would do me I love being out and about too much to work 37hrs a week . I have applied for lots on expat job page and loads of others not had any replies . I had a skype interview but it was for hilton hotel in ras al khaimh which is too far away. Have you done brunch yet?

Think I just thought it would be so much easier than it is , I am not letting it get to me I will get some others to have a look at it see what they can suggest , it has already been tweaked since being here and I was told it was a good consistent cv , but like others have said its a tough market out there but hey im enjoying discovering Dubai so cant complain lol

Thanks everyone its advice wot I needed to hear and take on board all of it , I have asked the agency if they can get me some feedback on my cv as the 2 companies they passed my cv to have not replied , also the agency did say if you were not pretty enough or too fat etc etc I would not be successful and that the employers who were looking for candidates were very picky about their choosing ?? so now I start to think they have probably said I am too ugly etc etc and the agency are avoiding telling me ? i may be just paranoid but it doesnt help self confidence much
