Thanks for that info carathop thought it was me just not knowing what i was doing ! Thats a bit of a bummer then having to pay more ! I know what you mean about dragging loads fo books with you I hate to part with my books also so I shipped them all back to scotland when I left Doha last year . We now have defo no place for any more books as the 2 very large books shelves are stacked full. I suppose i will have to just give in and pay what they are asking but when i can get some really good deals from the books shops its such a pain . oh well thats life i suppose . I am in holland just now and i bought the kindle to use there . i have a few books on it but i am finding it hard to get into reading just now . spend to much time on my lap top !! gill
ahh rach that would have been fantastic ! Im afraid thats what I need someone to show me how to use it properley . took me ages to figure out how to find the page I finsihed on haa haa . anyway we might be back next yr so you can show me then as i wont have figured it out by then . Only thing i am dissapointed in is I thought the books would be so much cheaper but the ones i fancy are not ! i went on amazon kindle book thing as thats were i bought it from . is there other places you can get books from cheaper . gill forgot to say we are waiting for the new i pad coming out in the uk . so i will have plenty questions for you then x

Thanks for this rachael just had a look at the site. do you know if you can put this kind of thing on a kindle . I am not very good at things like this and tend just to mess on . havent really done much with the kindle keep looking at it then put it down and forget what i have done . can you get this on your lap top as well and what happens if you change computers ! does it work by using your acc name etc and you can pick it up on any comp . sorry for being so thick . gill forgot i have an i phone as well !!

we left Qatar last june and used Crown. they were very good and not one thing was broken . I wanted to use pickfords as i have used them many times in the middle east but they couldnt fit me in ! The guy from crown was english and came round to see me and what things i wanted sending home ! one problem for us it took such a long time but that was our fault we used a shared container ( by sea ) with god knows how many people ! wont be doing that again although wasnt in a hurry for the stuff . prefer sending by air only takes 2 weeks .
