I agree with others, for boys I would keep them back a year and let him stay in nursery this year and FS1 next year. There is definitely an advantage in the early years anyway in being the eldest in class. Later on it doesn't matter so much. You need to be quick though to put his name down for FS1 next year in any schools it is very difficult to get in if you are looking for British curriculum. Try and find a nursery that is linked to a school or not sure if you can postpone your offer with Regent International, if you are happy with this choice, for next year.

Hi I suggest you call them. I think they are having a few problems with admissions to say the least! I know my friend has got her kids in for september year 5 and year 2 so they may have places but be quick. Otherwise best to just turn up there. Call the reception number if you cannot get through to admissions they normally track them down to speak to you.

We applied late too around mid January. At that time I was told they aren't allowed to tell me how many people are on the list but they will be assessing 180 children. I was then told to get my application in quick so she arrange an assessment We had an assessment but got a rejection letter and were told we were put back on the waiting list. The whole admission process I think for FS1 has been a mess! The principal and everyone was great but I really don't understand why schools can't tell you what number you are on the list. They are just ripping us parents off, I have now in total for my daughter and son paid around 4,500 in admission fees and assessment fees with no offers from schools!

I have not used Party Citi but they haven't bothered to reply to my e-mail for a week now so doubt if they are very reliable. Whereas Kiducation reply same day and also Ms Natalie did a cooking class and entertainment for an event I went to and she was good - full of energy.

Well I e-mailed this morning and have been promised that they will get back to me either end of day today or tomorrow. I know it is extremely frustrating but I think we will have to give them a chance it is their first year of opening and the first time they have had to deal with the hundreds of FS1 applications most schools have to! KHDA should be blamed they need to put some rules in place here and have deadlines when schools have to give offers. The schools admission process here is frustrating - us parents have months of stress if not years and out of pocket too with all these registration fees
