I would love to go to Prague! I've heard it's a beautiful city. But that Lapland Hol sounds really novel. Bit out of left field, but my kids would love that!!! Hmmm, a few interesting destinations to investigate now, thanks very much. Desertdoc, do you remember where you stayed exactly? Did you have to supply your own food in the log cabin and rent your own car?

Try the Antique Museam in Al Quoz behind MoE, they have heaps of Buddha stuff the last time I was there. Even one carved from wood about 10 feet high. And they're really cheap.

Wow, I can't believe how many of you would do nothing. That sucks. It really does. I would be asking myself if it were me in that situation, what would I want my neighbour to do. No question - I would want to know. If you tell her, you have done your moral duty. It's then in her court if she wants to believe you or not. You have nothing to lose in terms of friendship, but what that maid is doing is illegal and her family are unknowing collaborators or at least will be seen to condone it in the eyes of the law in this land. Your maid is probably telling you, because she wants something done about it, but isn't in the position of power that you are, to do anything. Do the right thing. Tell the madam!
