Hi ladies, I am doing a 3 day yoga teacher training course in Dubai Oct 8- 10th. I would love to have some EW ladies with me. If you want to train to teach kids too, it's a course run by the brilliant Rainbowkidsyoga - I can give you details if you are interested!

Hi Lottie83, I feel exactly the same! Yes I'd love to join a pet sitting exchange.... We too have a chi and live in the Marina, can we get the pups together? Ours is 10 months old - love her to bits!

I have searched the forum but would like to know what the plus points are and negatives, if any (!) students feel about the above 2 schools. They both sound equally good to me and we have been to the EC Open Day and await the DBS one at the end of the month. Many thanks for your insights...IA.

Yes the Kuwait board is still being loaded so I'm hoping that the word will spread and it will be as good as the Dubai Forum! When I lived there, I loved being able to post any question and be certain that someone would give me a great answer. Please do tell your family and friends in Kuwait about this new addition!

Dear 9714 You could try contacting the BAIA (British Academy of International Arts) on 2562 1701 or [email protected] as I believe they offer a range of music tuition.

Hi JessJan, there are some lovely baby/kid boutiques in the Avenues Mall (off the 5th ring road). If you go on the first floor to the FoodCourt and then head along towards Costa you will find some lovely ones. I am sure that the 360 Mall will also have some too (off the 6th ring road)- good luck!

Hi Irn Bru, I'm so pleased you have already found out some info- and I'm sure you'll find lots more here on the Forum (and in the Kuwait Guide and FAQ's) now that it's up and working again! I have friends living in nice apartments/villas down the coast in Salwa, Fintas and Egaila- and there's quite alot of new and roomy accommodation- some very close to the sea. You will find some lovely beach clubs too- the Palms and the Hilton are down that way but Kuwait isn't so big so you could also consider the Al Corniche club if you enjoy the beach, pools and gym. The British Ladies Society is also worth joining where you will see friendly faces and find out what's what! When are you moving? All the best with your preparations!

Hi Emirates Girl, How are you finding it here? Q8 is quite a small place isn't it? We are loving the Al Corniche club now school is out- it's great to have everything you need in one place! Hope you are settling in well- if I can help with anything let me know!

HI Neamhai, Great to meet you! Did you learn about the forum in Dubai-like me? It has turned humid here- don't know whether it's better as it's slightly cooler (than 50 at the weekend) or not! Have a great trip back and tell all your friends about EW!

Thank you so much BellaUK and pilotsprincess. I wonder if the key is to say it's for a 'temporary' driver?! Bella, if I contacted one of those companies do you think they could arrange seperate cover (to my sister's policy), or does it not work like that. Thanks again.

No you don't need an abaya. It's a good idea to cover your knees and shoulders. A word of warning- the a/c can be fierce indoors- so do bring a cardigan or similar if you feel the cold!

Hi there, for Mall Walking just turn up to Mall of The Emirates ground floor (Carrefour end) at the info desk by the foodcourt at 8.20 for an 8.30am start any day Sunday- Thursday. Then you will warm up, walk fast and cool-down/stretch. The ladies are lovely- do go along!
