I was in the restaurant area at the golf club calling him when I had a phone call from the Vets. He had been brought in without collar. A lady had been feeding him the last 2 days very near to us. She hadn't seen any of the multiple posters etc! She contacted feline friends who took him to the vet and he was identified by his microchip. Amazing invention. If I have any advice after this it is to inundate every Dubai animal facebook page; this page, and ask them to share it. Contactdubizzle, vets, posters in every shop, on trees. Go out calling. Leave food out. Spread litter.. If a cat. Most people have good hearts. Thank you everyone. Little monkey face is now planning his next escape...

Right, am going over to the golf club after work to see if I can find him. Two possible sightings of him there,even though one turned out not to be him, and potentially this new possible is the same cat. But I will try ANYTHING at the moment to find my little Boris.

I dont know why? Husband is going to look. It is up in Bon Marche. I just want as many people to be aware as possible. It has been like looking for a needle in a haystack. We could be looking in completely the wrong place. I met a very lovely little cat this morning without a collar and gave him some of the food I'd been shaking. He came when I called Boris! Not the right one though. We are all missing him so much. It is so so so so quiet in the house until the other one starts crying. He never normally makes a squeak. Just want my little boy home

Hi! Still no sign. We have walked for miles, given leaflets out, put them on trees, given them to security guards. I will get some fish and wander around with that tonight. Where can he be? Still no sign. Please help. I have put posters up in SPinneys and AR supermarket, on trees. Have wandered around for hours. Heard nothing He must be getting hungry now. hate not knowing what has happened to him.

thanks a lot everybody Ive had some good advice- the cat litter is a good idea and I have put food and water out. IIve tried the email address and the website in the link, but emails were returned and website was unknown. Thank you for the links- thats useful. Don't know why picture link isnt working. I'll try again. we have been for another walk around the block, but nothing. He only went missing very late last night. I slept with my other cat downstairs with the door open and the mozzy net across in case they called to each other. I have left some food and water where we last saw him. I have walked around the block and through the walkways. I would hear him, he's really vocal. I've have posted on Facebook and various Animal Welfare sites that I know. Im doing posters but now my printer has run out of ink. He has a tag with our number and REWARD written on it. Bizarre, but I had a feeling he was desperate to get out.

Thank you all! My only concern is that it's going to be on the stairs. We are considering (or rather I am, husband yet to be convinced) fostering a dog. I want my cats to be able to make a hasty exit, if need be, and had never heard of the cat sized hole in the gate. Just wondered if they existed over here. That said, I think the Baby Shop will be great alternative. Thanks again
