Cook, fill the kettle, brush my teeth, the only reason I don't drink from the tap is, it's too warm.

Great stuff! Now, a few rules for you to remember... 1. Don't bother indicating. That stick on the side of the wheel is for decoration only. 2. Mirror? Yes, make-up's fine. Signal? See above. Manoeuvre? Yes, straight into oncoming traffic. 3. A safe distance between you and the car in front is when another car can't squeeze in. 4. Filtering off? Make sure you leave it till the last possible minute and cut someone up if you can manage it. 5. Missed your turnoff? No problem. Reverse. That's what your hazards are for. 6. Never, ever, ever let someone in. Ever. Happy Dubai-style driving! I'll keep it all in mind :):)

Just wondering if anyone ever tries any of the recipes and been pleased with the outcome. The majority of them look delicious but, omg how much fat & calories must be in them, it really would be good to see some healthy low fat meals.

I'm following the s/w diet and quark is absolutely free food. I add things like Tabasco for a lovely dip for my carrots & cucumber and also add a bit of sweetener and lemon juice and it's a nice topping for fresh fruit salad.

I was actually on holiday in Florida, we were due to fly home that day and the first we knew about it was when we went to check out of hotel. I was with my now DH & 2 DD, we had to stay for another 4 days b4 we were allowed to fly home. It was a very very sad ending to our holiday, will never forget the looks on peoples faces.

But isn't it just that we all must have washed our clothes in hot water and thats why they seem more snug??? I just tried that excuse on DH and he said "it's not what I washed my clothes in, more like what I washed my food down with". Smug as usual that he's gone all summer without putting on any weight

Definately for at least 2-3hrs depending how thick you want it. Don't know if it's available here but recently discovered that Carnation do a caramel sauce so no need for boiling.

If you've only been training him for a week I think you're going to have be a little more patient, I'm afraid it doesn't happen overnight and if he's anything like my DS was with doing No 2s then I'd ditch the potty and go straight on the toilet, I really don't see the point in potty's unless you're going to carry them everywhere. Try not to get to stressed out with it as he will pick up on it and it will only make it worse, good luck :)

Make sure that whoever texts you from the uk puts the 00971 and drops the first 0 off your number, I used my uk mob when we first moved to Dubai with no trouble but it does cost more to send and recieve from here and will cost more for whoever sends you texts. Good luck :)

Hi BMAP. At present my DS goes to GCS via school bus, we live on AR and it is door to door service, this being a condition I let him go on it. It's a good service but he is collected very early of a morning, 6.45 and dropped back 3.30, it's a long day but he adapted well to it. Depending on age of your children, they are collected from classroom by the bus supervisor at the end of the day and of a morn they are escorted to the playground, so I always feel confident he is safe. All the school buses have to have seatbelts and the drivers are to my knowledge specially trained to drive them, the only neg I would have is that the older kids can be a bit of a problem as they seem to forget that the younger ones are vulnerable, my DS as come in lots of times asking me what certain words mean???? and also asking me if Chucky the evil doll was real and various other things. Hope this info helps you:)

Maybe try putting him to bed later and not letting him have any afternoon naps so he's really tired at bedtime. He just sounds like a very active little boy to me, and if he knows he can get a reaction out of you then he will do it all the more.

I use Sally Hansen Double-Duty, it's clear and shiny. I don't have a maid so do all my own h/w, hands constantly in water, altho sometimes I do wear rubber gloves if I remember to put them on. It does help to protect the nails if worn regularly and I bought mine in C4 if I remember rightly.

Our daughters name is in waiting list in most of the good schools n we just got admission in gems Wellington DSO. We are living in springs and it's too far to go everyday but as you know beggars can't b choosers so that's the reason we put her name there, Let see how it goes :( We are in AR so it would be quite near for us, not sure if this is a good enough reason though, is such a hard decision as my son is happy at his present school but we're not, oh what to do with a big sigh!
