I am moving to Doha with my DH at the beginning of September and we are hoping to rent an apartment at the Pearl which I have been looking at the internet to try to answer the same questions as you.
I haven't found any coffee mornings specifically at the Pearl yet so if you find one please post it here so I can come along.
I will be moving to Doha with husband in a couple of months and was wondering if you had found it easier to meet people whilst living an apartment or a villa in a compound? I don't have any children, and hubby will be spending time working offshore, so I will have a lot of time to 'fill in'.
Any advice that you can provide would be most grateful and I will hopefully meet up with some of you at the coffee mornings (or any other events you can suggest).
