If you drive on SZR towards terminal 1 and 3, go past bin sougat shopping place and i think at the next set of lights the metro is on your right Turn right there and i am sure it is on that road or the next one If you Google Rashidiya Police station location there is a map

I would imagine that it is a big no no to nursing in public with a culture so strong in respect and modesty. In more liberal countries it would not be a problem but I really don't think it is a good idea at all over here. In all my years here i have never seen anyone nurse in public Are there not mother/baby rooms in the malls etc for this?

I worked in UAE recruitment for almost 7 years and it is certainly not the norm at all I only ever had one person ask for this in all that time It is confidential information and not regarded as the done thing at all. I would imagine in the UK it would be illegal to ask for this sort of information It does go on here however most professional organisations would not ask for this

no..the bread is more important wait, the kid would grill better.... hmm..good point. Or we could use him for bartering. We could swap him for safe passage on a ship Oi, that is my child we are talking about, but I do have another one the same age and also knows karate Twins? ok forget the bread. With twins we could barter for air tickets So let me get this straight. You don't want my tv remote or bread, you just want both of my kids now. Is their a CPS in Dubai? haha

Hi, I'm thinking about getting a breast lift surgery and liposuction on my thighs. Akasha I'm going to look for Dr, Jaaffar Khan, thank you so much, and if anybody else knows about another good doctor, I will really appreciated. Thanks Dr Khan did my breast enlargement and the whole procedure was amazing Dont do lipo and the breast lift at the same time. My friend had it done and was in agony for days. Lipo is very painful much more so than breast lift

Please post feedback if you purchase from Couchia .. I really liked some of the styles but wasn't sure about the print and fabric It is the fabric i am unsure of also as i like cotton not the stretchy material if that makes sense. I am going to try and drive over there to have a look at them in the flesh and will keep you posted Same concern. I don't mind the stretchy material (I think that's polyster or cotton mix) but it is so uncomfortable in Dubai weather so I'm looking for cotton or some breathable fabric! Thanks :) It is the polyester fabric. Not been to the shop but I bought 3 from her at a school fair. She gets them from Thailand. If you have ever been to Thailand and seen the dresses sold in the markets, you will know what to expect. There are some beautiful styles and prints. Thanks i have a penchant for maxi dresses and need to stop buying them

I've just found "Suits" which is currently in its second series and quite fun. Best to watch Series 1 first to get the gist of it, though. There's also something called "Line of Duty" currently showing on BBC1, which is good. edited by simpleasabc on 05/07/2012 I am watching Line of Duty! saw 2nd episode last night the ending omg! Blackout with Christopher Ecclestone has started and the reviews are good A nasty piece of work, that Jack Laverty.. Wait and see! Love all the familar faces in LOD. I love UK dramas

I tend to buy most of mine from Warehouse in the UK. Here they are between 300-500AED a dress! whilst at home 180AED and all made of cotton and last for years OMG .. AED 180 is really reasonable. I've only ever seen Warehouse in Dubai and though they were pretty but overprices but I'm going to check their website to see if they offer delivery to UAE and then will have to use the trick of: try in store, pay online :) No delivery to UAE :-( i have to have them delivered to home then posted again The sales are great and i have managed to buy some for 120AED!!! New Look and River Island are the only two that deliver here

We ended up in Tecom for a while and found it quite ok. We were near Byblos and found most of what we needed in walking distance. The Park 'n Shop sells good quality fresh food (incl pork) and a good grocery selection. The Boutique 7 hotel has a couple of good bars, a sporty one and a nice garden style one too. We could walk to the nicer hotels too like the Rotana. The metro is close as is SZR if you're driving. We used to walk to the Greens for a nice afternoon stroll which was nice. There's a nice little French style cafe there too, can't remember the name of it but it was always full when we walked past and had a lovely breakfast there one day. Berts :-)

LOL.... You guys crack me up. The EK conspiracy... Crew plotting to miss your snack, and dislodge bags to land on your head (officially they are not allowed to lift bags into the hatrack, so they were probably trying to help). Too young?? Average age 27......you can be a doctor/soldier/fireman etc by that age. Pilots picking their own routes to save fuel (perhaps trying to avoid delays so people don't miss their connections). They actually carry several tones of extra fuel incase of bad weather eg: fog in dubai, so they have enough to hold and don't need to be diverted due to lack of fuel. Like I said.... Very entertaining ladies. Keep them coming, my LO is jet lagged so you're putting the smile back on my face :) It made me laugh too. Only time i have faced turbulence on EK was flying to Asia which is the norm apparently...

Hey monkey face In fact I didn't know the bag was on sale when I admired it and picked it up...no big signs or anything, just sale items dotted amongst non-sales. I haven't come across the 'cheaper price tag underneath' scenario before, at least not to my knowledge! For me it was a case of a bag I liked happened to be discounted into my price range...turns out it was even cheaper previously but as this was the first time I'd seen it I took the sale tag as the real deal. Then naturally I'm not impressed to see a cheaper price underneath. I don't think any of this implies just being lured in with a flashing sales sign, it's more about what constitutes a sale and ones consumer rights! (It may well be that the bag was more expensive the few weeks before the 'sale' started...but I think it's worth my time to find out!) I was browsing the stores last night and the cost of some of the clothing here in comparison to the US/UK is ridiculously overpriced. I try not to buy anything here now as it is a complete rip off and yes they hike the prices even further so you think you are getting a bargain in the sales

You can buy Orlistat OTC here so would assume this one would be OTC too... if it ever gets here! I doubt it. Reductil was prescription only. Orlistat just flushes the fat out. And alot of the side effects are **** leakage yuk

I just don't understand the prices the OP quoted. They are just over GBP400 some 500 on EK from Sept. I was told that the powers that be brag about the prices of Emirates. They know they are expensive however people still choose to fly with them

I think with the Olympics coming up any flying into the UK before end Aug will be a nightnmare ... but your flites are for after that? Strange. Emirates are also really strict on hand luggage nowawadays. When I flew from Dublin in May we had to weigh our cabin luggage so it could be exactly 7kgs and I was really surprised because most other airlines allow 10kgs on board. Well sh!tty Ryanair does anyway and Emirates is meant to be in a different league. Doesnt rynair charge you for anything above 10kg tho, that is how they make their money. Emirates allow 30kg for economy plus 7kg hand that is one of the most generous allowance on all the airlines on some routes you can take sports equipmnet too

Does anyone know if the new FDA approved diet pill Belviq is available in Dubai yet? My friend who is a Dr says no. Hopefully it will only be prescribed by a Dr and not available for OTC purchase as the side effects are great but then it is an anti obesity drug

Doubt anyone will but genuinely want to understand. I've just been tailgated (I'm talking inches - bumper to bumper) on the way home. I was in the furthest lane to the right and doing the speed limit (80). There were 5 odd lanes to my left for overtaking, yet this man who was driving with his young son chose to tailgate me for about 1.5km until the next traffic lights, where a lane further to the right opened up which I moved into to get away from him. This happens to me at least twice a week on my commute. I always stay as far to the right as possible, overtaking when required then moving back. I stick to the speed limit, I don't drive under it unless required by traffic flow. [b'>So I'm just wondering if anyone will admit to being a tailgater, or your DH, and explain WHY OH WHY people do it?[/b'> I've been in three major car wrecks here, all caused by other drivers, all of which me and DH were very lucky to walk away from. When this happens to me I feel intense anxiety afterwards, and as a result get home feeling tight chested and upset many nights. So, can anyone justify it? What's the logic? Seriously? Thanks for allowing me this little rant :) DH use to do that, and now, so do I.. especially when I am in a mean mood!! but not on the right lane, just the left most one.. I think it is my turbo engine!! I have one point.. if the camera flashes at 120 km/h.. people who drive at 100 should not use the left lane at allllll... edited by Lynett84 on 04/07/2012 Tailgate me and i wont go anywhere lol. I will stay in that lane just to pee you off ( i know it isnt clever to do that but i hate road bullies and tailgaters)
