Does anyone know where I can buy one? I have soft bags that I need to lock with a padlock. I heard that for travel to the US you need special locks that security or TSA can open with a master key. Any idea where I can buy these locks in Dubai? Thanks!

thanks twins mom - im watching that too. They have now also added Urdu 1- although they tend to show dubbed turkish series at prime time. Humnasheen and Dile muztar on Hum TV I have heard are great serials and just started.

Gals, For me the Special K cereal meal plan always works. It's bit tough to have cereal twice a day but I can tell you if you follow it you for sure lose kilos quickly. Try it, it's easy and works. Best of luck....

Go for Special K cereal at least twice a day......it really works. To make it interesting and different you can add other fruits and nuts to it too...yummy and really gets you back in shape. Worked for me. Anyone else tried it?

Gals, Need help from anyone of you who has had experience with a maintenance company that were able to find the water leak. As per October suggestion I got our maintenance guys to check and they were unable to locate any leak. The meter seems to be working fine too. That said we used 37,000 units of water in July when we were gone for almost 20 days (in the past 5 years we have never used more than 24,000 units). That said today hubby checked the reading on the meter vs the last month and again we are up by another 17,000 in 15 days ......so another crazy DEWA bill to come for August. Can anyone recommend a maintenance company or someone who caught the water leak in Meadows. It's costing us more than 1000 every month......need urgent advise.

Dear all, Just got our July DEWA bill and am shocked to see that my water bill has jumped to almost 2,000????? Keep in mind we were out in July for 18 days and we are in a Meadows 4 bedroom villa. I have also looked back over my last 3 years bills and my water bill has never been over 800 so jumping to 2000 specially when we were not there doesn't make sense....Gardner says he hasn't used any more water for the garden. Any thoughts or experiences ? DEWA says they will charge if they send their guy to check meter.

No problem sue, i will google it. Wow thanks everyone. I'm sure something out of all these suggestions will work for me. Beebers I am VERY strong willed if I am motivated and right now I am highly motivated! I am 5'7 and weigh 185 but I dont look that big due to my height and if I lose 10 pounds I look quite ok! Therefore all this fuss. Thanks again everyone. I will keep you posted as to what happened. Somebody mentioned a diuretic pill - can u suggest a brand name please? Thanks

Have just come back from a holiday, more plump than before and have discovered that I have to be at a VERY IMPIORTANT event in 10 days for which I MUST lose 10 pounds!! Please please please can anyone suggest something (a crash diet, pill, supplement - ANYTHING) that will guarantee 10 pounds lost in 10 days?? Please suggest something that really works even if its not something sensible to do in the long term - will only do it for 10 days - Promise!

Can anyone recommend a printer ink cartridge refilling place in New Dubai (close to Media City). While I am on the topic I must warn you never to use Ink King in Bur Dubai - they "refill" but the ink filled is often only half full and many times quite dry...at other times the cartridge is simply not accepted by the printer. Please could you also let me know what your recommended place charges?

It is excellent - speaking from both first hand (about a year old) and current (close friends send kids there) experience. Tutors are excellent and work hard to bring the student's level of performance up as best as they can - take their own initiative as to what the student needs to improve on yet they are flexible enough to target tests or whatever the parent's input is - their rate is quite reasonable too. Go for it!

Dont they darken with time - how do you get the grime out of the lines to lighten them? I know the traditional way would be with a scrub-brush and detergent but that will take ages!! Any ideas or any companies that do that specific job? Thanks!

Dhoop Kinarey etc are all eons old! Many new nice serials are coming on Geo and Ary these days - recommendations - Thori Si Wafa Chahiye (one of the main characters is the same actor who played Zoya's friend/colleague on dhoop kinarey) - comes on GEO on Fridays at 7pm - repeats at other times too Another good one coming soon on ARY is Neeyat - dunno days/times yet but you can probably find on ARY website. If you have Pakistani friends you can ask them to get DVDs from Pak of serials that have been very popular in Pak - a comedy one is Dolly ki Aayegi Baraat.

Naaah - I stick to my point - only 4-5 of the women on the list would qualify as being "head of a multinational conglomerate" As it is - only few of these companies would qualify as "multinational" - even fewer would qualify as "conglomerate" (definition is "A corporation of several companies in different businesses") and even fewer would be both!! :)) It is very good to be proud of ppl from your country but be careful of what you claim - I have noticed it as a classic Indian trait of exaggerating their positives and overglorifying their image when the reality is quite different!

LOL abby n christina, since when are balaji telefilms and shehnaz herbals become "multinational conglomerates"? And what about Ritu kumar fashion designer? From the list you've given I would say only 4-5 qualify as being heads of multinational comglomerates - the rest are all Indian companies and this would be true for any country's big companies - a lot would be headed by women Having said that you should well be proud of women like Indra Nooyi who truly are "heads of multinational conglomerates" :)

Yeah I agree Star plus serials are sooo unrealistic. If you like the family plot storylines but prefer your serials to be more realistic than I would highly recommend Pakistani serials on GEO TV and ARY - much more realistic and very solid storylines with the right dosage of glamour....
