Can't say they will or not as my neighbours "Damas" started to lift the garden wall foundations of our villa. I wouldn't chance it though once they start looking for water who knows. I will try and find my Dubai garden book and look up the name of a hedge I plated. It had a lovely yellow flower and grew like spit ( like most things in Dubai !!)a small turmpet like little flower, not the big trumpet creeper. Possibly ask at the garden souk, they always gave me a botanical lesson when I went shopping !! The hedge is called thevetia....great hedge to plant here in Dubai...grows really well And its common name is yellow oleander - great for the garden.

If you have a chance to go to Sharjah, I would recommended its market. They have good choice of plants, pots etc at much cheaper price than in Dubai. @EmilyG - are you going to keep the plants only on the winter time outside, or you would like to have a hard plants which stay also during summer? Definitely I can recommend bouganvilla - for me is the best in climat as we have in Dubai. Also nice one is cat's claw - I like its yellow flowers.

Guys, thx for info. After a time on the phone line and few visitors at my garden I've decided to go with poolsandgardens. They seemed to be the best prepared and professional and the price they gave me was actually really interested. For now they've visited twice my place and have done a really good job.

I've tried lately to find any news about pools maintenance, but I gave up after a hours searching in the forum. Does anyone knows a good company to maintain my swimming pool and jakuzzi. Also I have a garden to take care of. I would like somebody with reasonable prices and with professional people. Could anyone recommend? Thx and regards for all in Dubai!
