Well, there are several potholes on this aspect. Considering profile as Driver, you are unlikely to get much response with Online advertising. Depending on the sensitivity of the job description, I would rather post it at Supermarket which has much higher response rate. Agree with you. But I was getting sufficient CVs of drivers through dubizzle. Now figuring out what are other options to replace dubizzle.

I guess I'm the only one thinking that if you want to post frequent job ad's...shouldn't you be paying for the service? I would never pay the amount they are asking. I will find alternatives and posted ads in gulf news and khaleej times sites.

I can't believe the rates are that high for a business. You could put adds up in supermarkets, that is very cheap. Thank you good idea :)

do one ad with both positions. Thank you, yes I did already but its not efficient because they have categories for each vacancy. Example I need an accountant and a driver. So I have to post them to post in two categories. Accountant in Accounting category and Driver in Transportation category. edited by MM11 on 08/03/2015

Hello! Dubizzle is no more allowing frequent free ads on vacancies. They allow one free ad per two weeks which is annoying. I am looking for couple of employees. Could you please suggest me another site/ sites where I can post vacancies? TIA edited by MM11 on 08/03/2015

To be honest - Maus are much more cuddly that persians..... If you want a fluffy; perhaps try a Turkish Angora or a Persian cross. There are lots on bin kitty at the moment. Thank you for the advise. :) I sent an email for bin kitty few days before but no reply yet sadley. and I commented on their adoption pictures which I loved to have with me. But no responce yet. Fingers crossed. edited by MM11 on 02/02/2015

Hi MM11, just wondered if you have ever owned a persian before or if you just like the look of them? If you have had one then please just ignore me :D But if not.... my friend had one, utterly gorgeous but phew, hard work or what?!! I looked after him for a fortnight whilst they went on holiday, never again! Needed brushing at least every other day or he got dreadlocks, could have really done with every day but I just simply didn't have the time, his eyes needed wiping with a damp cotton wool pad every day as he got all crusty and oh the dangleberries on his rear end... :\: he was fussy about his food, he pooed on the floor if there was already one poo in his lit tray... he needed more attention than a toddler! Now of course, the one you adopt may not be like that.... but it may be!!!! All the best with your decision, please do adopt though, and I agree with the other posters that say - go to an adoption day, you will be chosen by your new furbaby, not the other way round! ;) Hello, yes I love the look of them and have taken care one for a week same as you while my friend is away. I have plenty of time at home so I wouldn't mind doing all those dirty jobs to have cuddles from a furball :):)

and lets be honest persians are a pain; you need to brush them daily, they are sensitive eaters and unless you want to wipe their butts you have to give them a brazilian ;) edited by IzzyOnTheSeat on 28/01/2015 Lol, I never thought of it. Thank you for bringing this to my consideration! hahaha

My niece is visiting and she would love one of those Henna Tattoos. Other than the ones in Souk al Bahar or Madinat, can any of you ladies recommend a place that does it (safely and properly) for a more reasonable price? I'm in Jumeirah. Call 0558023800 there is an indian lady who come and do henna at your home. there prices starting 50dhs. but she needs a minimum spend of 100dhs to visit your place.

I havent done this before so need some guidance here ... i m looking for someone to come and entertain the child guests while adults enjoy the party ... can be a magic show etc or someone to arrange games ... but just want to know how much should i expect to pay as i m budgeting now .... also i understand that the companies that provide entertainers can also provide ballon decorations etc would like to know is it any good and what's the right price to pay for such services and also if you have any recommendations I need advice urgently please Try azza beauty service. they send beauticians to do nails for girls such as nail polish, nail arts, nail stickers. plus they do simple hair braidings, face painting, removable body tattos, color hair sprays. They really entertain kids. If you need them to entertain adults you can request them polish changes or 15 min massages for all the guests. their charges are on hourly per beauticians. As I remember its 300dhs per hour incuding all the products cost. give them a ring on 0558023300. Hope this will help. I used them for my little girl's bithday party, they really enjoyed.

Old?????? Hmm, let's see what the other ladies have to say about that. Rather than looking at age, I would look at hobbies. Does she p,ay bridge, play golf, likes to read etc. There are like minded groups for basically all interest. Or maybe she likes the EW coffee mornings. Yes I just notices I have missed the 'l' in 'Old' in the caption. and I cannot edit the caption now. :l edited by MM11 on 15/04/2014

Hello, My Mother-in-law lives with me and my husband. We both work and we don't have kids. Everyday we go home evening around 8-9pm and morning we go back to work. Poor lady is home arrested. She has no any entertainment at home and she gets bored alone. Is there any activities in Dubai where we can send her? ie any ladies clubs/ get-together here for old ladies or any other activities? She is an Arab 60+ years old. Any suggestions will be highly appreciated. TIA
