I was given the following advice. You need to look as professional as possible as the interviewer forms their opinion in the first 20 seconds of meeting you. definitely a suit - trousers or skirt - that fits properly. A plain coloured shirt / blouse. simple jewellery - no big jewellery that clanks and makes noises a plain smart watch - not one with a fabric / frayed wristband closed in shoes that are in perfect condition - not sandals handbag or briefcase - not both light makeup light or no perfume - as although you may love it, the interviewer could hate it light or no nail polish. Hope this helps.

I bought some yesterday also and got an email almost immediately with the vouchers. I have had a problem getting the email in the past. Try logging into your Cobone account and checking if they are there in the " my vouchers / purchases" HTH. ETA also check your email "junk" box. <em>edited by MrsO on 07/09/2012</em>

According to their website Safer driver can do chauffeur options tailored to suit your needs. http://www.saferdriver.ae/services.html I've used them on a number of occasions for pickup and the drivers have been on time (sometimes early!), courteous and careful drivers.

zebra crossing has a nice area of little ones although when I was there last time there were a few mad 5-7 year olds running about jumping everywhere.... But they should all be back to school next week! :-D Extreme fun in Motor City has a lovely sectioned off area for under 3 and the bigger kids cannot get in.

Do you want a new one because I've got a lovely Kettler that's doing a great job as a clothes hanger :D. Has clip-on heart-rate monitor, different workouts, adjustable foot positions, very smooth and quiet. That's exactly what I'm afraid of happening....Expensive coat hanger! I'm hoping a new one comes with 'motivation' to use it! :-D What model do you have? I'm doing my research now.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a summer camp that has good daily activities (arts/crafts, games, cooking, etc) for a 3 (nearly 4) year old girl? I know its nearly the end of the summer camp term but we have just come back and need something to look forward to - especially playing with other kids. Thanks

Thanks for the ideas ladies! Norak - I don't think the wooden stirrers would hold a full ice lolly... But I might borrow a few to try if I'm stuck! I'll try Daiso and Tavaola tomorrow! Cheers

If you have an iPad there is a fantastic interactive globe app called Barefoot World Atlas. It is quite expensive but has Information on each country, and some details on the inhabitants or native animals. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/mobile-app-reviews/9159907/Barefoot-World-Atlas-for-iPad-review.html

I bought one second hand on Dubbizzle when my LO was 2.5years old. I can honestly say it was the best purchase ever. LO can sit properly at the table at exactly the right height. The seat and footrest adjust as they are growing so they are always sitting at the right level - table at elbow level and knees at 90degrees! I'm planning to use ours for many years to come!

Thanks for the replies so far! Famn-oz; thank you very much for the info. this is important for us to know as DH is just doing some financial calcs to see if it is a good move. The job is located in Joondalup so we would be looking in that area. It was always a long-term plan to go to Australia but this job has just popped up out of the blue and although we are vrey happy here it may be too good an opportunity to miss.

Shamat And Pomegranate - thank you very much for your replies. I had also read some information about how August-born children are disadvantaged by the British system. Shamat - it is good to get your perspective as a teacher. My DD is physically small but confident and bright but at this age it does seem such a gap. She is at nursery now and many of the children are 10-11 months older and they definitely seem to be much more advance in terms of fine-motor skills and cognitive skills such as recognizing letters and numbers. She is in FS1 at nursery now and starting big school at age 4 next year but I am really concerned that we should holder her back for another year. Pomegranate - the article and findings of the study is exactly what I'm worried about. That DD is forced through school at a level beyond her ability that would make her dislike school and under achieve just because of her 'unlucky' birth date.

I have a 3 year old and we really enjoy going to Tribes at Moe - especially when someone is celebrating an occasion and they do their traditional drumming and singing! PF Changs is also excellent! Most chain-style restaurants usually have paper and crayons that they bring to the table which is great! Rain forest cafe was too dark and the animals too creepy!

We used to have a neighbours maid babysit and we paid her 25aed/ hr. Our DD was always in bed asleep. We didn't pay any travel as she lived 3 doors down. We also had a friend's teenage daughter. We paid her aed30 / HR as this was the equivalent she got in the UK for babysitting for friends of the family. We always paid for her taxi home. She was saving to go to uni in the UK.

Thank you for the feedback ladies! I'll definitely not take my 3 year old. Perhaps the details on the madinat theatre website should be more explicit as to it's suitability.quote'> Yes I agree with that too, it should clearly state at the time they put it on sale the age range and not now after tickets have been brought! Sorry to hear you've already bought the tickets! Might be worth putting them on EW for sale - I tried to book for Sat and it was full.... Then I thought I'd better ask the EW ladies what it was like as I couldnt find any reviews or info.
