I was at the Hilton for brunch this past Friday - it is defo one of the better ones - free flowing bubbly - double / triple up at last call - curries made to your specifiaction - seafood / sushi all excellent - waiting to go there again!

It used to take me around 40 mins to get from Zig Zag to a tower near the sheraton, to be on time for work at 7.30 I used to have to leave at 6.45 - If I left at 6.50 iw would be around 7.45 by the time I got there - this was before the road works...

I am moving to Qatar with my husband and just wanted some tips on what we should bring from the UK that is hard to find or too expensive? Any food, toiletries etc? I bring pork into UAE as it expensive here Stock up at Duty Free is you like Vino I buy Johnsons face wipes, suntan lotion, hairspray, makeup, moisturizer, skincare products, perfume etc in the UK as it is much more expensive in M.E You cant bring ANY alcohol into Qatar

We lived in tower B for around 3 years and I had had enough! Constant fire alarms to the point where you were so used to hearing them you just ignored them. Smells coming through the air vents and constant maintenance! Final straw for me was when the staff in the mall were coming up to use the pool / gym etc and no-one batting an eyelid On the plus side as Joos said - fantastic views - dependant on floor and which side of the building you are on (32 storey hotel being built in front of Tower B) and the mall downstairs comes in very handy
