It is amazing isnt it! I was thinking last night the cost associated with re-filling 6 large pools will be a lot, not to mention the fact all the filters etc are now exposed so dust will be filling up by the minute - what an absolute nightmare. With regards to switching off the A/C it just gets better by the minute, we believe our LL has paid but even still I wouldnt trust Nakheel at all. Anyways owners meeting tonight so lets see what happens - not holding my breath !

Well the saga continues, there is a owners assoc meeting on Thursday however they seem to be part of the problem, and I am guessing as a tenent we can not attend, however I will be standing outside :-). The pools had been half emptied and all the filters disabled, so all the pools had gone a lovely shade of pond green, but yesterday they were fully emptied - I dont know what this means (why would anyone tell us) but fingers crossed we may see water going back in soon. What is funny is that the life guards are still on duty, I guess they are there in case any one decides to dive in to an empty pool - I feel sorry for them sitting there all day in 40 degreee heat with empty pools - sums it all up really.

it really isnt and the trouble is if I was a landlord and I have paid then what incentive have I got next year to pay it if I know I get penalised - it is a big mess, and the pools are empty and it seems like stalemate for everyone involved. All I can say is stay away from renting any of these properties as it happened with all the shoreline apartments and not marina residence :-( I am hoping I can get out of my tenancy agreement asap and let Nakheel and the landlords work it out.

I use endomondo it is free and works on iphone, android and blackberry - it uploads all the data on to their website for you to track etc - its very good!
