Is it time to let up, or for others to start teaching? Don't let up! The fact that some others are raising rude brats is no reason to let your own family's standards go. Children and teens who know how to behave politely will get further in their careers and adult social lives-- "letting up" now will not do them any favours. (My opinion, anyway...) Tartiflette I totally agree with you! I just wrote a post about classes that I have enrolled my DD in teaching just that. I mean I like to think I take care of the basics at home but ...

a new user posting about a *great* service; how strange..... I wonder if this is an advert???? Ummmmmm Ouch! I am a relatively new user having only been a part of this for a little over a week. I just wanted to share some info. Maybe I got caught up in the hype of it all :-)

While dropping my DD off to dance lessons at DUCTAC on Thursday I found out about some great new courses running there this term. A company called Live.Learn.Style are offering classes developing manners, self-esteem and confidence. The ladies are qualified teachers and were really lovely. I registered my DD on the spot! I have since told a few friends about it and they were also very interested so I thought I would share it with you all! The classes start in early February. I'm not sure when their next registration day is but their website is www.lls.ae

My 10.5 month old is going through the exact same thing! We have also just arrived back from a few months away with a 7hr time difference. My DD seemed to shake the jet lag really well. We put her straight back on her normal routine as soon as we arrived. We got in at 5am and i put her back to sleep until 7am at which time i had to wake her but we started straight back on her normal routine. The afternoon wasn't easy but the following day she was right back on track. She has however been waking a bit during the night - she used to sleep 7-7 without a peep. At first i started going in to settle her but found she was starting to rely on it and wouldn't let me put her back down until she was in a deep sleep. Now i just wait to see if she will re-settle which generally she will do within a couple of minutes. If she doesn't i send my husband in to give her a quick hug and put her back down..she knows she can't fool him into a longer cuddle! Natashak - the routine book I used has some good advice for traveling and has worked wonders with my DD since we started it. It's called Save Our Sleep by Tizzie Hall and I can't recommend it enough!

I too used a mix of bio oil and palmers stretch mark cream until i was about 28 weeks pregnant. It was at this time i started to noticed one small mark appearing. I invested in a product called trilastin you can buy it online. Again a bit pricey but i can't recommend it enough. i gave birth to a 4kg baby and not a stretch mark in sight!
