Do they do small moves? I'm moving to Dubai in August and will not be bringing any furniture or heavy items with me, it will mostly be bags, clothes, shoes and a few books/personal items.

If V P N isn't legal then will I get in trouble using it?? Or is it something that a lot of people do without getting caught? I'm new to so much so a bit naive and worried about certain things, especially getting in trouble!!! ?

Hi ladies, I am moving to Dubai in August, what is the best way to contact people back home in the UK if what's app is blocked?? Is there other things that are blocked like FaceTime or Skype?? Why are these blocked?? Just wishing to plan ahead and tell people to download apps if necessary! Thanks in advance!

I am moving to dubai in August and am also very nervous but excited too! I don't know anyone in Dubai at all! Where will you be living? What job do you have? I will be working at a primary teacher. Maybe we could compare our experiences of moving over and maybe meet up when we are both there?! When do you move? Good luck, I am sure everything will be fine ? x

Hi ladies, would like some advice but don't want to sound ignorant! I'm moving over as a single person on my own, I am currently on the depo-provera contraceptive injection and wondered if it was easily available in Duabi, would they let me get it being a single person? Would it cost me a lot?

Wonderful thank you all for your comments! I am a very social person and enjoy nights out but want peace and quiet the rest of the time so I think it will be ideal as I can escape the noise and buzz when I wish to!! My current plan is to use taxis and re-evaluate this when I am moved out there and know what's happening etc. I really hope to not use a car as it is just an extra expense and I have heard only negative things about the dubai roads but we shall see!! How long does it take to get into the centre of dubai or the closest beach?
