I agree with starsouthern, but we only got back 500 of our deposit as the Dewa bills are always in arrears, so the other part of deposit was used up to pay the final bill. Strangely enough the last bill was higher than an other month and this didnt include the 100 in charges for cancelling.

Try and sleep to your normal sleep pattern and time zone, maybe hard to get comfy in Economy, hopefully the plane maybe half empty, so once the doors close, have a good look around to see if there any empty seats and grab them. I flew to Canada last year with changes in Germany, I feel your pain. Flying is very tiring. Think it took me 22 hours not counting the 9 hours time difference. Never Again!!!!! Good luck. edited by salsB on 09/05/2013

its always common for acts to come on a teeny bit late, this is to get the crowd going, but 2 hours, come on, its a p*** take. I seen Westlife in AD, ofcourse they were late coming on, but only for afew mins, the crowd were chanting and clapping, its part of the build up.

Thanks SalsB. Will be going to GP tomorrow and asking for a MRI reference just to make sure whats going on. I dont know why they are so stingy with painkillers. Thanks Ladybee. :) edited by Appletiser on 07/05/2013 Great you getting the MRI, I had to wait for one of these for such a long time on the NHS. Good luck, post and let us know how you get on.

is that 80,000 or 800,000 you have, if its the latter, go book a flight. 800000 - so I went on to book a flight and whenever I enter departure airport (dubai, dxb, or anthing) it says it doesn't recognise airport code or city!! I may give them a call... YEAH!!! I am super excited. I really really need a break. Dxb - UK was 300,000 return, this was peak season. Please remember you have to use them within a certain time frame, or you lose.

I have read on the internet diclofenac tablets are effective. Have you tried it SalsB? edited by Appletiser on 07/05/2013 I was given them, didnt suit me, in the end my GP in UK gave me muscle relaxants and Pethidine. Most GP's just wont prescribe. I was in complete agony. I even dialled 999 once, I know so drastic!!!! Please just find the source and get it sorte. In my case, nothing helped until I was operated. I am very careful now, just couldnt go thru the 17 years of pure misery. Let me know how you get on. If you want my email to chat, let me know, I do feel your pain, honestly, x

Gregg's and a British Fish and Chip shop, oh a proper British Curry. If you mean an Indian 'British' curry, Brick Lane in Al Barsha touts itself as a British Curry House. Set up and run by a scouser, food's pretty reminsicent of such a menu, albeit, I would recommend delivery/take-away only, the small dine-in area is a bit stark and has none of the requisite flock wallpaper, dodgy music and Tiger b**r that you would get in a Brit curry house. It has a website www.bricklanedubai.com, if you fancy a browse of the menu. Sorry Brick Lane doesnt make a British curry as I know it.

Gregg's and a British Fish and Chip shop, oh a proper British Curry. Greggs has gone all upmarket in the North East, i have been watching a programme on it and they have re-fit all the stores! Everytime I go home, I have to have a sausage roll, cheese and onion pasty and a fresh cream donut!!!! maybe not at once, I crave them so bad over here. My mum lives next door to Gregg's, its cruel on me. They don't sell cold meats now, which I think is a good thing.

How soon after the card was stolen did he report this to the bank. TBH I never read the terms and conditions on our card. Maybe read the terms and see what it says. Back home if you have insurance on the card I know it covers a great deal. Over this part of the world, who knows!!!! This is where we need the chip and pin to help secure our cards...

Once you start the co-sleeping, you will never get your bed to yourselves again!!! Well you may do but it will not be pleasant to see the baby/child scream the house down. My first DD used to sleep with me from about 18 months old till she was 4.5, complete nightmare trying to get her to sleep on her own. I didnt do this with DD 2nd two. I think we tend to be so soft as a brand new parent, but when other children come along you break habits you made with LO no 1.

Only hubby and myself and spend around 750 per week on groceries from Megamart, we shop every Friday and just by fresh bread and milk in the week. Hubby fills his car up once a month now, he only works round the corner and to he spends 50 Rials per month ( in Dubai, this was 1400 per month ) we dont do brunches no more, but we eat out once a week. Back in Dubai our overall allowance for food, petrol, brunch was around 2500 per week, we are lucky to spend 1200 now. Good for the bank I suppose.

I worked when my two were young, no choice, needed the money. I gave up work when I came here, so after working none stop ( and hubby worked away for years) for over 20 years, running round in all weathers, didnt have the priviledge for child minders, horrid employers, kids sick, who will have them when school breaks up.( kids school was 5 miles in the other direction to my work, and it was all done by going on the bus) A complete nightmare. Do I have anything to complain about??? not now, looking back, it was tough. Now I dont work, hubby jokes, with the usual banter, your a nobody in the middle east etc. Not working is so boring, working is very tiring, especially with little ones. You need a drink to get over your day!!!

Don't see how mine and DH's financial circumstances has got anything to do with this. Once again, I'm being asked to justify my working when it has nothing to do with my question since baby would be asleep when and if we went out which would be the same if I worked or not. Am I supposed to sit by DD's crib watching her sleep every night because she is in nursery all day? Weird logic. I am hardly baring my soul here - I could dig out threads that would make the most openminded person blush. People discuss their husbands cheating, their intimate gynae problems and all sorts. I was never going to be a mumsy mum who sat in a floral Laura Ashley number, never wearing makeup and tutoring Tarquin and Persephone to get into Oxford aged 10. I'd rather be a fun mum who has a giggle with them. I want to look hot for my hubby, go to work as I love bantering with my colleagues and pulling in the b@con, and go out with my girlies every so often. I also want to take my baby to the zoo, do bedtime religiously, and play with her on her playmat. Being a mum doesn't mean being a martyr to domesticity - you don't win any prizes for being the world's best mum, they come in all shapes and sizes. Now you can catch me and DH having steak at Gaucho in a few months, I may even have a glass of red (clutches pearls). Pearl clutching made me smile, tee hee

I dont like to disrupt my sons routine at all and if we do we pay the consequences. I don't see why I should drag him out to get the chores/monthly groceries and such done? Once he is fast asleep me and DH go out and do everything we need/want to. Most nights it will be spot shopping for him but if the maid tells us hes fast asleep and has not been stirring we will take advantage of that and have some dinner out. I was raised the same way and I can tell you i appreciate my parents not lugging me around stupid o clock just because they want to go out and wont arrange adequate care at home. I agree, we could argue about all the small kids who are dragged around malls and up late during the school week. I babysat for my neice and nephews when they were both tiny and they loved Aunty time. That was in the days before mobile phones therefore if they woke and were distressed i had to call the restaurant or pub my Sis and BIL were in In my day I had to send the pigeon!!! lol, only joking,

Poor thing is in nursery all day already and you want to leave her at night as well? You need to do what is best for you but perhaps it's your priorities that are wrong? What a horrible thing to say!!!!OP is talking about going out once a month and I think she deserves a night out. Perhaps she does. And anyways, what does she care what people think? I would never come on a forum and ask total strangers - most of whom come from a totally different background than me - and ask something so personal. You want to leave your baby day and night? Go right ahead. edited by Quinn10 on 05/05/2013 edited by Quinn10 on 05/05/2013 But you are quick enough to come on here and slate the OP.

Now Janine and another friend didn't have toe broken had bunion shaved, they been in bad pain Janines foot is still not right, also. If you don't have your toe broken it will still bend over your other toes , I would recommend having it done properly by breaking toe, I shall have my other one done ASAP,hope this helps.

What do you mean poor thing?? I work FT hence she is a very happy baby in nursery. I spend all weekend with her, take her swimming, play with other babies and am with her from the minute she opens her eyes to the minute she sleeps. I am talking about a [b'>monthly [/b'>evening with my husband when my baby is ASLEEP - she wouldn't even know. I am of the opinion that my marriage is still important and we don't neglect each other, and are still husband and wife not mum and dad. Why do people feel the need to make rude and patronising comments about working mums, when if I said the same about non working mums I would be banned! Poor thing indeed. You havent got to justify anything to this forum, some people really annoy me, you get you date night sorted asap, yes your marriage is important!!! you are entitled to free time, hope you have a wicked night out with Hubby.

I would be careful if you are planning to rent a space of a tenant. JLT will be charging residents for parking. They will only get free parking as per their contract. If you pay privately then you have no card access to the barriers, then you would of paid out money for nothing. I would imagine there is no set fee, but ive seen 10,000 per annum as a ball park figure.
