ecochic, do you make your own fertilizers? If so, how please? I've just got a tray of basil, red chillis, green chillis and rosemary germinating. Thank you :)

Is it Al Qudra road that runs down the side of Arabian Ranches with the Polo Club on the right and AR on the left? Anyway, that road links up with the E611. You can only enter the E611 towards Abu Dhabi but after only a couple of km you peel off to the right, drop down under the E611 and come up the other side heading north. You can go along the E311 and take the E66 towards Al Ain and link up with the E611, or go a bit further and take the E44 towards Hatta/Oman and also link up with the E611.

If you go on the bypass (E611) you just stay on the E611 as it's now been extended. It narrows down to 2 lanes and does a VERY sharp left hand bend. About 1.5km after you will see Emirates Road crossing above you. Carry straight on underneath Emirates Road. Just keep going straight, over all the roundabouts, until you get to a roundabout with a metal sculpture where you can only turn left or right, turn right. When you see Dreamland water park on your left, do a u-turn. It's the next turning after Dreamland once you've done a u-turn. As Pipi says, watch out for speed cameras. The limit is 80kph once you've gone under Emirates road, and they DO work.

I used to think Justin Bieber looked too babyish but as he's gotten older he's gotten better. I still like Chad Le Clos:-) Is it shameful to add that some of the Year 13s in my dd's school are pretty good looking too? edited by A Rancher on 23/01/2013 edited by A Rancher on 23/01/2013 Now that last part does have to be secret! That fits very neatly into the category of "inappropriate crushes" :D

Not sure if it's the closest, but next to where you register cars at interchange 4. It's on the inland side of the E11/SZR, but the other side of Um Sequeim road to Mall of the Emirates.

I wonder if it was a shock reaction. The child had lifted herself up so was clearly mobile and "ok". Maybe the parents were so caught up with the moment that they grabbed everything first and then examined the child after.

Copy and paste your link into the text box where you type your post. Select the entire link then click on the bok above that looks a bit like a chain link (between the Underline and the paint palette). If you leave it as it it will just say "link" or you can replace the word "link" with a word/s of your choice.

Yesterday - Me: do you have this bra in 36E. Shop Assistant: No ma'am we have 36B, you want to try? Me: No, thanks??!! Shop Assistant: We have this one really nice, 36A, you want to try? REALLLLY?!!!!!?? I just walked out. I've had that too from the bra fitter in M&S. She could see no problem in giving me a wrong size bra because it was actually the same size as the one I asked for, according to her. I told her women should not be wearing bras of the wrong size and that she should know that. I got the usual insipid smile in return. Shoe shops are just as idiotic. They see nothing wrong in offering you shoes a few sizes smaller because they don't have them in your size.

Thanks. I've already been through the EK website and saw that Ukrainians can apply online once they've booked but didn't know if they had to be staying in a hotel. DH's friend wants to bring his Ukrainian GF but they'll be staying at a residential address, not a hotel. We wondered if this would be an issue.

I'm wondering if she smuggled the drugs because she's greedy and wanted the money or if, as she said, her family were threatened if she didn't smuggle them. Assuming it's true, how does an ordinary, law abiding grandmother get to have her family threatened by drug smugglers ?? According to her mother and previous neighbours she wasn't quite so ordinary or law-abiding.

The tell-tale signs were pampas grasses, such as I have, in the garden, or upside-down pineapples in the shopping cart. I buy mine ready cut.

Surely the inbuilt ones should be removed as part of the vehicle spec then? I didn't realise tinting applied to the rear windows. Does this mean that whole sheets of the Gulf News obscuring the entire window are also illegal, or does that not come under "tinting"?

I felt my earlier post to you was rude. It was not meant to be and I apologise. I just got the feeling that you would put up with a sham of a marriage for the sake of the children which would do no-one any good. I can see that you're level-headed and I'm sure you'll do the right thing. If you're happy, your kids will be happy :)

But I am truly afraid of how he would behave if I leave (not talking domestic violence, thank God, but he can make grown men cry. I stand no chance as his enemy, not to mention the kids). Stuck good, I am... That is a big enough red flag right there. Trust me, children are not happier simply because their parents stay together. If you're happy knowing your DH is getting his kicks elsewhere then fine, but if you're not, don't kid yourself that your kids won't notice (or resent you for it). I think you're doing an admirable job of keeping up appearances while you make absolutely sure you've got all your ducks in a row - I'm not sure I would have been able to keep my mouth shut as soon as I suspected something :D I wish you the very best of luck :) edited by Sanddy_Dogg on 21/01/2013

I also wash all meat - red including mince, poultry, fish before preparing it. I don't soak it, just rinse it quickly. I don't know why - my grandmother did and my mother, also. I guess it is a learnt behaviour. [u'>http://www.snopes.com/weddings/newlywed/secret.asp[/u'>

I'm sure it's not in RAK. There's the Al Awir used car market which is HUGE. If you look on Google Earth, it's the top right quadrant of where The D67 and the D62 meet. If you search "Tambiri Motors FZD" on Google Earth, that's in the middle of the Al Awir car market.
