Noooooo....it's a loooooooong way up. It's a matter or minutes to come down. He's in a capsule suspended under a balloon right now, going up. when he gets to altitude he will step out onto a platform outside the capsule door and JUMP.

Go to the item online on S&S website and scroll down to the bottom of the page to "Shipment Attachments". Click on "Airwaybill Copy" and see what you get. It might be as simple as mine - two parcels on the scale. Whatever the problem, they should re-weigh it in front of you and charge the appropriate amount. By looking back at mine I saw they tried to charge me AED 137 instead of AED 41.

Yes, me - last month. Don't pay online!!! S&S said it weighed about 3 times what the US courier stated. When I went on the S&S website I think you can view the AWB. In my case it was a photo of the parcel, except in my case it was two parcels, the other going to Doha. I think the S&S weight was the combined weight of both parcels. I printed off the photo as well as the courier tracking info with the courier's weight on it and took it into my local Aramex office to collect the parcel. I got them to weight the parcel there and then which they did. They agreed it wasn't as heavy as their system said and I paid the lower price. They just had to take a photo of the parcel on the scales, showing th true weight, in case there was any quibble as to why I didn't pay what they'd estimated I owed. I never heard back from them so it wasn't a problem.

Thanks-the FAQS on the Etisalat site said you could do that for 6 months-unsure what happens after that-would prefer not to get new sim cards and have to change numbers obviously Well, that's not good then. I mistakenly thought the sim I am currently using now was registered under my name so I brought my ID card etc. But it dawned on me after I had re-registered with Etisalat that it was actually under DH name but now it's in my name. Does that mean I have got 6 months only with this number? Why are things around here never straightforward? :( edited by Saharagypsyrose on 10/10/2012 Things are really easy: You get a number in your name and teh you re-register in your name..... simple :) Not that simple. A non-working housewife sponsored by her husband cannot get a postpaid contract under her own name.
