I've not had a problem leaving here with the kids, nor entering with them. I shall be carrying letters signed by DH giving his permission for the children to travel with me in his absence because I have been questioned entering other countries. Edited because I intend getting DH to sign my letters, not singe them. edited by Sanddy_Dogg on 07/06/2012

I get the comfort thing, I sleep with one pillow along the edge of my bed and roll onto that, but the whole ex-flame or daddy thing is a bit :\:

Lettuce, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, white onions, salt, pepper, lemon juice, balsamic vinegar. Couldn't swallow the darn things without a handful of peanuts and some crumbled feta cheese. All things healthy taste so bland! Ugh! I will be a size 20 forever:( I hear you. DH went shopping today and asked what I wanted him to get me for lunch. I said a salad. What I actually meant was chocolate. At least I would have eaten that.

Yes, that's right. When you open an S&S account you will receive a US and UK address. You put this (which ever is appropriate) as your shipping address when ordering through Amazon and S&S will sent it on to you when they receive it. edited by Sanddy_Dogg on 06/06/2012

I was told by a dealer that silk rugs should be put on the floor not the wall. They have their rugs scattered all over the place and there are no signs telling you not to walk on them - they must have faith in their rugs!

And me. I don't ever remember waking up feeling refreshed. I've never slept well, not even as a child. I've gone through periods where I was so tired I was on the verge of tears for days. I'd want to scream when DH woke up and told me how well he'd slept.

Absolutely their mistake. They gave me the same nationality as DH despite our passports being different colours, let alone from different countries. DS is now Irish because his passport is from the "United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern [b'>Ireland[/b'>" It was wrong on the application forms and we pointed it out straight away but were told not to worry and to inform the ID Centre when we made our applications, which we did. Again we were told no problem and assumed it would be picked up during the process. Not so.... Back to the ID Centre I go....

If you're lucky in C4 they will show you one bone and cut it up for you, then you know what you're getting.

While I agree that no amount of worrying will keep him safe I think it's defeatist to say his safety is in god's hands. It's not, it's in the hands of everyone behind the wheel. To attach the outcome to a higher entity kind of removes any need for care on anyone's part which I think is wrong. IMO

Assuming you mean Hanes Hosiery, you can order them from Amazon. There's a good chance they'll ship them here otherwise you could use Shop & Ship [url=http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=hanes+hosiery+alive'>link[/url'>

Just don't use Shop & Ship. S&S won't carry most cosmetics so gels, creams and liquids from LUSH would be a no. Not too sure about soap/shampoo/massage bars.

Many things!! I bought DS's lego at Christmas because even with shipping it often works out cheaper than buying locally. I also use S&S to ship stuff I buy on eBay. You must be careful of shipping charges though (and it's the same whether your items are coming from your US or UK box). always find out the weight of what you want to buy and check on the S&S rate calculator what your shipping fees will be. S&S will not ship liquids, creams, lotions or most cosmetics (I have a big online 'discussion' with a S&S agent last week who told me they would not carry the cream eyeshadow or mascara I wanted to order but couldn't show me in the rules where it stated that).

We don't go out. yup, what she said. We don't go out, AND we have a full time live in maid. Just that, a maid, not a qualified nanny, first aider, mum etc etc. When my MIL comes over in December Im hoping to go for dinner with hubby, will be the first time in years :) It is what it is and all that. We say everytime family come over we are going for a night out together [b'>and then the next thing we know we are at the airport putting them on a plane[/b'>. Because their holiday's over, or because they're bad guests? :)

It depends on whether the smell is bad or just strong. I was really surprised by the strong. gamey smell of chicken I bought from the Organic store but the chicken itself was delicious - really full of 'chicken' flavour.

My a/c will be left on but at about 26/27. My water will be off and i'm lucky enough to have a neighbour with a key who'll be here while I'm away and can come in and check a couple of time a week. Those who are leaving water on, lift the floor drain covers if you have them as they impede the flow of water down the drain.

I'm not completely against the wearing of fur for practical purposes, but I am appalled at how the animals are treated (I suppose this goes for animals used for meat too in some cases).

Here's my recipe for the diswasher powder 2 cups bicarbonate of soda 1/2 cup sea salt fine powdered 1/2 cup citric acid mix all together and keep in airtight jar, if it tends to clump put a muslin bag containing a few grains of rice into the container. For the rinse aid just use white vinegar. edited by Di@DXB on 03/06/2012 Thanks for that. Is citric acid available in C4 or spinneys? Do you have a recipe for laundry powder too, please?

Oh, and the ingredients are all available from Spinneys. You need to use a Strong flour but otherwise it's powdered milk, sugar, salt, oil and instant yeast.

I like Spinneys white loaves. I get them sliced and put them straight in the freezer. As long as they're properly wrapped when they go in the freezer then they still taste fresh when defrosted. I have a bread maker which makes lovely bread but I find it difficult to slice. If I only had a Spinneys bread slicer...

This line from gorobattie's link brought tears to my eyes: [i'>Firefighters say they found most of the children already dead, huddled in the arms of two fellow firemen who died in the rescue bid.[/i'> Bless those brave men who lost their lives whilst giving comfort to those children. I hope it gives some peace to the families knowing that their children did not die alone.
