I use my bidet to wash my feet. The hose next to the toilet is much more practical than the bidet for cleaning after using the toilet. Mine's a multi-use bidet - good for both.

Registration card and insurance (I take original and copy). also take PP and visa copy. You shouldn't need it but you never know.... check online for fines beforehand so there aren't any unpleasant surprises.

I think you have to link accounts. I assume you have an Etisalat login? In the meantime you can use the Pay 4 A Friend option on the left hand side. You enter your friend's (or in your case, your) number and can pay the bill. This does mean of course that you can view the balance of anyone who's number you know :D

Yes, yes, yes here! Distasteful though it may seem, it DOES happen here. Please don't kid yourself that it doesn't. Too often I've seen the "survivors" (once is too often, actually) and it often doesn't end well.

Yes, there are dog fights here, and quite a lot of dogs involved. I've seen the aftermath of some of these dogfights (that are illegal btw). ETA Usually Pitbulls, or dogs that look like pitbulls. The owners usually cut the ears off their fighting dogs. You'll see dogs that aren't pitbulls with their ears cut off. I assume they were thought to be pitbulls, had their ears cut off then dumped when their owners realised that they wouldn't be able to use their dog to fight. DD didn't receive a Whatsapp message from me with her wifi turned off. Facebook Messenger works both ways without wifi connection though.

I have an iPhone, DD has a Blackberry on the AED 49 plan from Etisalat. We usually communicate for free through FB. She sends me a FB message and I pick it up through the dedicated FB Messenger app on my iPhone. You can download Whatsapp to a BB on the aed 49 plan - DD did it a few days ago. I've just sent her a message from my iPhone to her BB through Whatsapp and it worked. There are quite a few apps available on the BB with the 49 plan including Twitter, Google Talk, Yahoo Messenger and Facebook. Internet is available when hooked up to a wifi connection. There are quite a few other apps and games availab;e through BB App World when on wifi.

Thanks for the replies. The squirty bottle doesn't work as I can't get close enough to her with it. She stops as soon as I get close enough and I don't think it's fair to squirt her after as she won't know what she's being squirted for. As for the cause of barking - people and dogs. She sees either she barks like crazy. Unless I keep her in all day with the curtains closed I can't remove the cause. It's driving me crazy and I'm sure my neighbours aren't impressed either. I'll give Petland a try.

Surely something along the lines of "If I can't find the owner I will, but I was hoping to return it directly to the owner first." might have been a more appropriate response to Monkey Face's suggestion. Simpleas, you may want to delete your post. Unless they've changed their policy, K9 Friends purposely did not advertise their location publicly to try and reduce the chances of people turning up out of hours and dumping their dogs on the doorstep, as it were. As they do not have a location map on their website I would assume they haven't changed their policy.
